Been a tenant for over 20 years and it's gone down hill. Brent have now outsourced its repairs team to Wates Living Space who take approx 5 days, yes I've called 5 days in a row and been on hold for over 2.5 hours only for someone to answer and then put the phone down. Can't seem to get through to speak to a HUMAN
Worst council ever The most unprofessional people in this world Do they even work Is there anyone to help I have been emailing calling for over a MONTH regarding a PCN and have had NO RESPONSE I’ve even been to the council and no one could help me since it’s all online but no one reads or answers nothing. Now I have to pay £130 instead of the £65 because no KALBBBB could help or answer my query or even bloody answering the phone absolute SCUMSSS Honestly war zone countries such as Syria and Iraq work better than these scums who just steal money and have no sense of dignity to help others. This is definitely the worst council ever I am so GLAD I don’t live in Brent I’d rather live in Syria than Brent.
The worst concil by far, I've been waiting on a permit for almost a month now,I've paid in full and still not delivered. And the ticket officers run up and down the roads and streets all day long, they're basically there to ripp you off, I've come across few occasions where the ticket officer don't even bother waiting for 5 mins and issue tickets for vehicles. What a shame and embarrassing.
Brent Council are the WORST Council in London! They have literally gone down the drain due to CORRUPTION & INCOMPETENCE! They’re only a very few handful, who are actually disciplined enough to help Brent residents! A*** HOLES !!
THieves. Incpompetent administrators and web servises from 1997. Worst council in London. When I moved here 2021 I couldn't pay council tax because I couldn't sign up for it due to a broken web page. They wouldn't allow me to do it any other way. In spite of this being well documented in email they still sent me late notice fees and finally a court order. When their web page was unbroken and I could finally register and pay they still demanded late fees. Council tax continous to be an issue. They don't respond to complaints, questions or pleas to address issues until it's too late. I am convinced this is done on purpose. Whoever runs this place is human garbage and deserves to live in Brent, with regular clerical errors, until they die.
If i could give this council ZERO STARS I would! Voted as one of the worst councils in London, they really live up to that reputation. They are taking me to court because they reckon I owe them money for the period of time my son was in full-time education. I sent them the evidence to prove this and they just ignored me! When I called to chase it up they told me they hadn’t even looked at my email because they were TOO BUSY dealing with the energy rebate?!?! I was then told my evidence would be forwarded to the correct people, and what did I get in return? My “debt” sold to a debt collector and a demand letter in the post!! Even though I can prove I don’t owe them the money AND sent them the evidence they needed way back in 2016 and AGAIN in 2022. Utterly incompetent jobs-worths who sit behind a computer and get paid to do nothing. Should you DARE to question them about the validity of your council tax bill they see that as I sign of non-compliance and send you straight to court where they tell a judge you don’t want to pay. Their incompetence already cost me £10’000…yes even though I have always informed them of any and every change of circumstance they apparently still managed to overpay me in benefits i was entitled to at the time by 10k!!!! Local councils like Brent get away with absolute robbery, councils workers rely on a computer algorithm to tell them how much you owe, which is why they can never actually clarify what all the numbers actually mean on your bill. Local councils should be regulated for their poor performance and their olympic level incompetence.
Terrible council ever. It is so weird that they don't investigated by the government. Just look here and consider the negative comments. They never get back to you regarding council tax. Seriously ridiculous service.
My name is Brent and I do NOT approve of this council. Take people's money and make little-to-no investments with it, treat people like a disease when the irony of it all is that the council, themselves, are the tumor ravaging their society. Can I still request a name change?
Worst council, lady named komal is very racist. Worst experience ever. She needs to be reported. She did not provide me food voucher upon explaining her my situation that I have child with special needs She is the worst person working for council, someone needs to look into this asap
Worst council we have ever experienced in London. I bought a flat with lease. It takes years to solve any problems and I’m not exaggerating. Homeownership team doesn’t reply to emails or send generic unhelpful responses. When you call them, they treat you like a dirt, one lady shouted on me every time I called. They tell you direct on the phone that you cannot make any decisions in your home and only lease owner can decide what you can do in your flat for which you paid so much money. External works take ages, we had scaffolding installed in November 2021, and today we are in July 22 we still have it on, so far they only painted the house facade, didn’t even scrub the old paint and just paint over it. So it’s going to chip in a few months. They don’t keep you posted. They order wrong materials. They leave rubbish on site. We live like in cage without sun light because we are surrounded by scaffolding for 9 months and no signs of anyone doing anything. They hire the worst contractors. Sometimes these “workers” walk around half naked, chilling under the sun on the rooftop. I’m hearing a lot of similar feedback from neighbours. Streets are covered in rubbish. The only friendly and helpful person was on parking team.
