Don’t buy bottled gas here. Bought one a couple of months ago, came to use it today. Tamper proof seal was intact, but bottle was empty! Over £60 wasted. No receipt so too late to take it back.
Great place for garden products but even better for Christmas items
Andrew and the team offer a well stocked garden centre, with quirky pieces for the home and garden. Nothing too much trouble, always expanding. Great asset to Boroughbridge. Always introducing new items and seasonal fun, check out the new Santa's grotto on the 10th and 11th Dec.... Book early
This is our go to garden centre. Reasonable prices and most things you'd need. Nice folks running it too :
Great range of plants but you can can only get one trolley down some of the plant aisles. Worth a visit as good priced

Lovely little Garden centre hidden behind Morrisons Boroughbridge, friendly staff, lots of quality from the plants to the garden furniture.
Plenty of room in the car park. Easy to look around. Take your own cleaner to clean down trolley handle. Healthy plants good selection. The staff helped get everything into the car and were very helpful.
If your a caravanner or camper looking for a gas refill then BEWARE. I went here in desperation. I needed gas after running out whilst staying at a nearby site. I had tried other local places but couldn’t find anywhere that had a 3.9kg propane bottle. My wife is diabetic and I was anxious to find a fresh supply so she could manage her meals. I ended up paying £30 for a refill! They are normally around the £15 pound mark. The staff member there told me they had to increase the price due to calor putting up the tariffs and they weren’t making any extra profit. Then later when we went to go outdoors in York we discovered they had refills for just over £15. I’m sorry but I find it hard to believe that Calor is increasing its prices by almost 100% and if they had how come go outdoors, a national retailers, we’re still selling for the regular price. Just some additional information. I noticed that the garden centre was selling 13kg refills for £55. I own a boat and I use 13kg refills and the Marina I get mine from are £30. Just thought I’d put that out for consideration. I have just checked calor uk’s site and their rrp is £18.50!
