Story

Our independent little cafe deli stocks the finest selection of handmade cakes, salads, quiche, paté and hummus that will make your mouth water. Made every day on the premises and all available on the menu of our cosy little café or to take away.

High quality condiments and continentals and lovely, lovely cheese. Plenty to choose from and all made by the very best – Wyke Farm, Snowdonia, Shephard’s Purse, to mention only a few. The finest cheeses made in Yorkshire as well many European favourites.

Gluten intolerance or other allergies? No problem - we aim to accommodate.

Tea? Take your pick – fruit infusions, fragranced or straightforward, thirst quenching Yorkshire tea.
Coffee, coffee, coffee! We love it. If you’re indifferent we invite you to try ours. It could be the first great cup of coffee you’ve ever had. If you love coffee as much as we do then please give ours a go.

Find us just off junction 48 of the A1(M). Follow the A6055 for Boroughbridge and you’ll see us on the High Street. Bowe & Co is the ideal place to visit for a wholesome snack, an excellent, excellent coffee or tea, and a bit of a rest before you continue on your way.
