I am coeliac and haven’t been able to have a Chinese takeaway for a long time. When visiting my sister we found out about Hao Wei, yesterday evening we thought we would give it a go and wow we were not disappointed. I went in person to order so I could check to make sure things would be safe for me to eat so many GF options available - wanted to check cross contamination etc the young girl who I first spoke to wasn’t able to answer my questions but quickly found a member of staff who was able to answer all my questions and offer other menu options that weren’t specified on the menu. The food was 10/10 it was so lovely to enjoy a takeaway with my family without feeling like I was eating GF! Thank you Hao Wei! Would recommended 100%! Dietary restrictions: Lots of GF options available, lots can be made GF.
We have been here a few times for dinner as a family and all the time food was on the spot. They have a good range of food options from starter to dessert. However, some of the desserts are out of stock most of the time. Service is okay, but could have been better. Overall it's a good place with good service. Pros: Price, Food Cons: Seating, Service
Whenever I go to a Chinese Restaurant I order won ton soup, so I can tell fairly quickly what the quality of the food will be. The soupe was delicious. The main, half a duck with pan cakes, sauce and cucumber you make your own rolls was perfect. Service could be a bit more attentive, but very good price/performance.Food: 5/5

Lovely, welcoming staff. brilliant atmosphere. would 10000% reccomend to anyone. very delicious food and very affordable. Calm restaurant and very fast delivery of food. Came here for dinner with 3 friends and the food was delicious. Some unusual options but all the favourites too. The food was fresh and the portions were great too. The spring rolls were delicious. A nice addition was the section of desserts. The lemon sorbet was absolutely delicious!!
We went without booking and they were quick to get us a table. Fresh food, great quality and taste, nice interior and more than reasonable price for a restaurant. A must try.
Food portion is small compare to other China restaurant. Tatse is not strong , most likely accommodate local tatse. Rice was super expensive 5pounds per bowl.Food: 2/5
First time and won’t be my last. Just ordered takeaway for delivery and I have to say the food turned up hot and very tasty. It’s hard to find great Chinese and I have one I go to all the time down the road but fancied a change and now I have two great ones . The delivery driver was really friendly and very polite unlike the many scooter outlets that deliver.
Friendly every time. Always collect my order and think how nice it would be to sit in - has a great atmosphere. Food is always fresh and tasty. One of the only Chinese take aways that isn’t just grease and bland flavours. I would argue the best I’ve ever had in this country. Keep it up! Ps. Almost everything can be done gluten free - shows how fresh the food is! Dietary restrictions: Great Gluten Free
