This is one of my favourite restaurants as I enjoy Italian and American style foods. The service is generally good, though on the rare occasion you may get a member of staff that makes an error. Drinks are ordered first, then when your drinks are served they ask if you are ready to order. It's an efficient procedure that sees the waiter(ess) interact with you a decent amount of times to ensure you are taken care of. The menu has a good selection of food and drink to suit adults and children alike. The vintage diner style with 60s music creates a nice atmosphere.

We had breakfast there. I was impressed by the quality of the food and could see kitchen staff at work. Good value for money and the decor creates the right atmosphere.

Never as good as the first time I went, food is OK atmosphere is dated and the same as every other Frankie and Bennies. Even the music in the loos seems to be the same. Getting tired of the packaged Italian American oh aren't we cool we've got famous people's pictures on the wall experience.

Good food, great service, we had a lovely waitress, although it was a shame another waitress was arguing with the kitchen staff that everyone could hear, but the manager dealt with this very quickly. It was a nice visit would deffinaltly visit again

No place on earth has the ability to disappoint quite as much as F&B’s Abbey Wood. F&B’s Cribbs Causeway is just plan rubbish, whereas this place manages levels of ‘terrible’ unsurpassed by just about anywhere else. The disappointment usually stems from the appalling service, whether it be waiting an unacceptable length of time to be seated/have your drinks order taken/have your drinks delivered/have your order taken/have your food delivered/have your table cleared/have payment taken, the rude waiting staff, a combination of or, indeed, all of the above. But the food is usually adequate. This time, however, the service was average (praise for this place) and the food arrived quickly. They’d even managed to cobble together some different music and at no point were my ears assaulted by ‘Happy Birthday’ or Cliff Richard being played at volumes akin to the space shuttle launch. I was feeling positive. Was I about to experience a meal at F&B’s Abbey Wood without feeling disappointed? No. I had ordered the All American Burger. According to the menu’s picture and prior experience, one can expect a burger covered by a very generous helping of creamy macaroni cheese, all topped by a seeded bun. Imagine my disappointment when presented with a sorry looking burger topped with, at most, a desert spoon of dry looking macaroni. I was devastated. Looking back I should have complained immediately, but it had been a long day and I was hungry so I just sucked it up. I lost count of the times I heard ‘I’m very sorry – I will let the Chef know’ mentioned to others by the waitress. Why anyone ever returns to this place is beyond me. Even with the 50% off main meals, my advice is to pay an extra £10 and go somewhere decent. But I always end up going back hoping things will change. I’ve got my work Christmas meal there!
