A terrible station which is over crowded tourist never know where they are going the should have a staff member at the bottom to tell people which way to go to ease the congestion at the bottom of the escalator instead of standing around chatting at the top. If you have a large group people and you are going to the market try chalk farm tube instead much less congestion there.
The worst tube station in London. Very often close for enter, you can just exit but no enter, you need to use another station instead. Almost always just one escalators are operate. It's just crazy! Such a good place and such a crappy service.
I work in Camden six days a week and have done for 9 years. I’ve never had a problem with any of the underground staff, however the Canadian man called miles has to be the most invasive person. He makes personal comment about people’s clothing and comes across rude. Just do your job quietly and stop making people uncomfortable with your chit chat!
It’s on notherline underground line. Very crowded area and the nightlife is very lively.
Nearest station to the amazing Camden flea market, just a 5 minutes walk. And a lot of pubs around.
I like the people who work there they are funny it's an good station when quiet not when busy though
London has fallen. What a complete dive & disgusting mess. Not what it used to be.
Best place ever
Terrifying… Dirty, it smells bad, crowded with people, it seems like there is smoke, a lot of people, the good thing is that it is easy to sneak in without paying, the security guards pass everything... Some stairs that if you fall you kill yourself. Quite acceptable, very crowded with people and especially low level, I didn't feel very safe in that area and even less so at night, but if you put your hand in your pocket and grab your gun you won't have security problems. At meal time it gets very crowded, since Covid 19 I haven't traveled around the world, people are very crazy about traveling, everything is saturated and impossible to visit anything without peace of mind. In short, here is what there is...
It is a Northern Line station, marked black on the London Underground. The station is located in the second zone of the Travelcard. On Sundays it is an exit-only station to avoid overcrowding. It was inaugurated in 1907.
