Story

Here at Walker's Quay, we run daily canal boat trips from our dock in the centre of vibrant Camden to the picturesque Little Venice.

We have two beautiful boats available; the Jenny Wren is our open sided tour boat, on which we run public cruises every day at 12:30 and 14:30.

You can also hire the boat for your private use. It is a wonderfully different thing to do for all sorts of functions, including hen parties, corporate events and birthday parties.

Our cruising restaurant, My Fair Lady, offers a comfortable and ambient atmosphere to enjoy an evening meal, Sunday lunch, afternoon tea or a light lunch. Alternatively you can hire the boat for a drinks cruise, with service from our on-board bar.

If you are looking for a venue for a corporate meeting, how about enjoying a continental breakfast and soaking up the scenery along the Regents Canal?

This was a last minute booking for myself and family. I must say we all enjoyed our trip the driver was informative and certainly knew his history. Sometimes when going on these cruises there’s nothing worse than someone knowing nothing. As I have never been to Camden before it wasn’t sign posted very well. It was a great day and everyone involved seemed pleasant enough. I can see other peoples views regards to aggressive tone. Working in that area and dealing with people who can’t navigate the canal properly then I totally understand.
I thoroughly enjoy this canal cruise. The guide was very informative. Because I was seated in the front, people were chatting behind, which makes it difficult to hear from time to time. You can book online, and I recommend arriving early to grab a good seat.
We've taken this cruise twice now and it's well worth it. Departing from Camden Lock and cruising up the Regents Canal passing by London Zoo and through a long tunnel before turning round and coming back. There is an interesting commentary and the staff are super friendly. My Dad finds it difficult to negotiate steps and they were more than happy to assist him. Whether you're a tourist or a local it's a very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours.
I really don't understand the terrible reviews!! I took my husband on the round trip from Camden and we enjoyed it. Ok the boat needs a little attention inside and the seats could be better but you're not on it that long anyway! We thought the guide was very knowledgeable and he spoke throughout the whole journey pointing things out to us along the way. We had no issues at all.
Lovely driver speeds up when he’s approaching you on the canal. Any other Canal user would slow down but as you can see from the other reviews they have no consideration for other people or boats on the water. If you are lucky he will shout some abuse as he goes past.
Truly disgusting, vile and rude behaviour on the waterways, no sense of boater etiquette nor respect from the operators of the cruise towards other boaters using the waterways! Extremely entitled and obstructive use of the navigation key word, NAVIGATION- the ‘road’ for boats, the by-laws of which Jenny Wren are palpably ignorant regarding, increasing risk and being a danger to other boats! I sincerely hope this company ceases to exist soon enough, please consider giving your cash to someone who will actually do the waterways some good with it! JW, wishing you infinite engine troubles & fouled propellers, maybe even a gaping hole in the hull <3
I simply love the trips on the canal, every guide on the boats is different but you always learn something new. I have done these trips 4 times now and there are more to come
Almost caused a collision with another boat, was rude and aggressive to young women on the water. Absolutely inexcusable.
Delightful little tourist attraction, very nice and knowledgeable staff tour. If you are tall like me, then the seating is a little tight otherwise just great!
The man operating this boat is absolutely vile and not even worthy of 1 star review. He is aggressive to anyone not on his boat. You could be using the canal minding your own business and this joker will deliberately speed at you, drive too fast into blind corners and blame you for being there. He swears and shouts completely unprovoked and is a disgusting individual. Many other boat operators I spoke to that day knew exactly who I was talking about. Avoid this company. Give your money to someone else. Please!
