We visited here today and had the best gelato! I love banana, and this was one of the flavours, a vegan one and you'd never have guessed. The shop has a gorgeous modern design and we loved the Italian Job theme. This is a really friendly and a fantastic place to stop and visit. I can highly recommend the Banana split!
Some delicious in store made gelato in Kentish town. Award winning flavours, here we tried the pistachio, chocolate sorbet & mascarpone apple strudel. All were really great, flavoursome & textured without being sickly sweet. Really lovely service and quirky interior too. Please support this small business!
We showed up just before close and they were so nice to talk to us about all the different flavours. They’re made every day by the owner… who our dog became best friends with. They’ve won awards for this gelato and it doesn’t disappoint. I had the Eaton mess and it was delicious. Real chunks of strawberries too. My husband had both the pistachio and chocolate. Also what a lovely touch to have the waffle biscuit with their branding on top. They even have doggy ice cream!
Excellent gelato.. I’ve always walked past this place and got round to visiting today. The gelato was amazing highly recommend the pistachio ice cream and the mango , all the flavours we had were top notch! The staff and owner are very friendly . great family run business and prices are very reasonable ! Support your local 5 stars
Great friendly staff and a super cool interior. The ice cream flavours were varied. The ice creams had a lovely creamy and velvety taste - some of the best I’ve come across. The mint ice cream with marshmallow pieces as per the picture came with an edible cone cup. There is a range of tasty cones including “smarty pants” which is a premium cone with a chocolate coating and crushed smarties type chocolate pieces.
Caliendo's has fast become a family favourite, and there is always something to please everyone. Even Murphy our dog loves his doggie gelato. The gelato is always delicious and trying the chefs new creations when we pass is always a highlight. The best 'topping' is the fantastic staff. Always friendly, welcoming and accommodating! If you are in the area i would strongly suggest you visit and if you're not close surely theres no better reason for a trip than all the yummies on their menu.
As a fan of crepes and gelato, I've heard this name come up a couple of times so I thought I'll see what the hype is about. It's not a hype, there's authenticity in the taste compared to all the mass production out there not mentioning names. It's like being back in Italy. Presentation was on-point and the taste was even much better. I like the seating arrangement and the artwork too. When the bites and drinks are that good, there's one thing that can let it down but not on this occasion. Thanks to the two ladies that served me on Thursday 14/10/20 - that's customer service at it's best smiles, helpful recommendations and they seem to enjoy their work. Parking: if you're driving, there's paid parking on the side road you get up to two hours and can pay using Ringo. Parking is free before 8:30am and after 6:30pm.
I regularly stop off at Caliendo’s on my way through London, often with one of my dogs, and we are always greeted with a big smile and a great selection of flavours to choose from. My favourite item on the menu has to be the affogato - great quality Illy coffee and great quality, handmade gelato - happy days! Thank you for consistently fab products and customer service :
This little parlour makes the best ice cream ever, it’s absolutely delicious! I cannot walk past without popping in for a scoop or 2!! Always a warm welcome and a fabulous variety of flavours to choose from. Well worth a visit
Surely amongst the best gelato in town! It’s my second visit in 3 weeks. The americano coffee, simple as it sounds, was amazing.
