Been with this practice 3 years and a very mixed experience. On one occasion the trainee GP misdiagnosed and I was on unnecessary medication for several months. It was only when I said I would pay privately that the more experienced GPS reviewed my case and decided I didn't need the medication at all. Another trainee GP didn't listen to what I said and prescribed medication I said I can't take. On the other hand Dr Burton is an excellent GP.
I contacted the practice about my Mum today not quite knowing what I needed or what they could do to help. The Receptionist was so helpful, knowledgeable and kind. The gp phoned me back within an hour. He was very thorough and took time to explain things clearly. I just wanted to say thank you so much.
Absolutely fabulous service today by the practice nurse sorting out my ear syringe work. Feeling much better and every part of the procedure was explained in detail.nI can recommend this practice as any service is great. Well done to the whole team.
Always had good experiences here I did used to work here but I’m not biasednDr Blackwell and her team do a great job in sometimes challenging circumstances Dr Packer is our usual GP and has been a brilliant and kind family doctor to usnThe nurses has and receptionists have always been kind and helpfulnKeep up the good work and thanks so much for all you do
Receptionist staff not very helpfull, was told by NHS111 to take my child back to the GP immediately and request to be seen straight away as it was urgent she got the antibiotics she needed for a second case of StrepA, however the Receptionist refused and said we must go home and await a phone call to be told if we can go or not. This seems to be a running gag with Hannage Brook Medical Center the Receptionist are always asking questions about the problem which is private and never pass on the message correctly anyway and always say you have to wait to be called back and they don't always call back. They are impolite and impossible to work with, make you want to change Gp surgery.
