What is it about post offices; they can have a queue out the door, but still carry on with some admin behind the post office counter instead of serving waiting customers? I left without bothering using their services and used alternative couriers and shops for sending my parcels and will do so in the future.
Excellent little Post Office and much improved since the new refurbishment. It's the first time I have seen a walk-in fridge in a small shop, what a great idea to keep the beers and white wines cool. The best part about this Post Office is the owners and staff. You couldn't wish to come across a more friendlier bunch of people. The staff are a credit to their employer, always bubbly and smiling and crazy Helen is one of a kind. KEEP IT UP! Don't let Dinosaurs who still use cash and moan about the cash machine put you off. Some people just can't appreciate when you are offering them a facility - that you have no obligation to offer at all. Then have the cheek to moan about it when it isn't working or isn't operational at a time that suits them. Local people should be grateful this Post Office is still open at the rate they are being closed down. Use it or lose it as the phrase goes. Don't use it and enjoy your walk down to the Cross Gates branch!
Amazing Post Office! The staff are always super friendly, helpful and provide the best service. Recently refurbished into a Convenience Store with a working cash machine internally, it now has pretty much everything you need for your shopping basics and needs. The owners have put everything into this project to make sure the Temple Newsam/Halton community doesn’t go without!
Great staff, but the phone is permanently off the hook, so rings constantly engaged. Not ideal if you need information but have to visit the post office to get it.
Recently converted in to Premier but have retained the Post Office which is now in the back of the shop. It has your basic essentials and both the Post Office and Premier staff were friendly and helpful. I’ll be back to browse and buy more stuff soon
This is the best post office I have been to in the 20 years of my life. The staff are extremely polite, the prices are good and the selection of items are great. Tuesday tunesday was a great experience, it was lovely to see the passion for records from Neale, the owner. Overall I would recommend this to my friends and family as a very convenient place to shop.
Great Post Office. Can't fault the service. The staff are always polite, friendly and professional. Stock a wide range of supplies for a small shop. They have a nice selection of vinyl in store now as well, great for a bargain hunter.
1 star review drinks for meal deal are not labelled but in the same fridge as a meal deal foods I asked what crisps are with meal deal so the shop keeper knew full well I wanted a meal deal but charged full price for each item I use this franchise alot around Leeds I will NOT be using again for any! when I ask about why the drinks not a meal deal but is in fridge with all other meal deal item they just said it's not part of the meal deal lost a valued customer!
What an amazing experience! I came here after having a terrible experience at Rookwoods post office. I really needed some help from someone who was friendly and knew what they were doing. I went for the first time yesterday and a LOVELY lady called Helen I think that’s her name, she said she had worked there for a few months served me. I’d just finished work and she greeted me with such a big smile and chirpy voice it really cheered me up on a Monday afternoon. Helen was really helpful, kind and put my letters and parcels through at a quick but efficient pace. I will 100000% be returning here for all my post office needs!
