Car purchasing and mot and servicing. Great job. Sorry my first post only had one star. But this garage is worthy of the 5. Very helpful and totally customer focused. Well done the Halls team.
My partner and I bought a 2014 Peugeot with 45000 miles for £7000. We were told the car had one previous owner who had burnt the clutch out and the garage had put in a new one. We were not told that the car had a 2nd hand gearbox…. Even though we discovered the halls receipt for the purchase of one later on. We were told it had a brand new clutch. Nevertheless, the car broke down after only two months.We we’re told this time it was a different issue. It took the dealer three weeks to repair, meaning the car was out of warranty when it was returned, SUPPOSEDLY FIXED!! No invoice or receipts if purchases were provided. We were simply given the car back and they “SAID” they had put in new Peugeot parts. We then broke down again two months later, with the same issue as the first time. this time it was on the side of the M5 where we broke down. The garage couldn’t have been less helpful. The response from Rob the manager was “well, haven’t you got breakdown cover??” Absolutely no help whatsoever and gave us the impression that he couldn’t have cared less. £314 additional travel costs later, followed by a £900 garage bill in Taunton to repair the clutch again and another £40 in travel costs to get back to collect the car….. we finally got the car back. Halls agreed to take the car back and refund the purchase price only. This meant not only were they useless, sold us a car that was priced way over the top book value, but they were completely non negotiable on even meeting us halfway for all the extra costs we incurred as a result of buying a car with so many issues that we were not told about. We will never use this dealer again. We feel deceived through not being the told everything about the car. We also feel mid-sold and not valued at all as a paying customer.
Always great service, have had a couple of cars from there very reasonable prices will definitely go back again

Rob and the lads are brilliant. Honest and reliable. Used cars from there are excellent - my husband has purchased two from them. I always recommend them. They absolutely look after their customers.
Hands down the nicest guys you can deal with in the motor trade. Honest, fair and A* customer service. If your looking for a good, fair priced used car I'd highly recommend going and have chat to with them before looking else where.
I've been buying my cars from Rob for nearly 20 years. He considers who you are as a person and then advises you on which cars you shouldn't buy. Plenty of choice of cars at various prices so I've always been able to find a suitable car to buy. I've taken my dad and a girlfriend to buys cars here and I'm about to buy my 5th car from Rob.
Very good. Lovely to deal with and have not let us down. Good value and have been many times before and will definitely go back again.
Excellent service and very good quality and price. It has always been the case in the past that l went out of Cornwall to buy my cars as the prices were cheaper up country. My experience with Hall's has changed that view. Great friendly service, excellent presentation of the vehicles and prices to match anything elsewhere. Recommended
Honest and friendly staff, I didn't buy a car but I got good advise and will come here in the near future
