I purchased a Vauxhall Astra from Cornwall Trade Centre, and to be honest, I could not fault them, I received a warm welcome when I spoke to the salesman, I was left alone to look at the cars, but they were always on hand to answer any questions, I didn't feel pressured at all, unlike other places I visited. Once I decided on the car for me, they made everything a breeze, two things I liked were the fact that all work on the car was carried out at Dales and the 6 month warranty that came with the car. The car itself was valeted before the collection and looked great!! I would definitely deal with them again and would strongly recommend them.

I bought a peugeot 207 hdi here it was an absolute nightmare they gave it the so called checks in the workshop, and yet i noticed the engine was rocking when revving upon further inspection they said it was the bottom bush gone they put a crowbar under the gearbox and lifted it up and down, they did replace it so i went ahead with the purchase, they charged me £150 for the cambelt and added it to the price of the car when starting the car from cold i noticed it had a misfire, which i told them about they said bring it in in a week which i did also i went for a long drive shortly after buying it and the car was completely cutting out which was worrying considering it just had a service! so it came in and they said it was the egr valve which they replaced, also the car would jolt forward when coming off the throttle it was quite annoying in traffic or going downhill, this fault was not fixed and was there all the time i had the car, i carried on using the car until it broke down i called the garage and they said they were not responsible for getting the car to the garage and it was up to me to get it there, which i did, got the car back drove it a day if that and it breaks down again, so this happens again and again all the time i am on a course trying to take exams! 50 miles round trip, i understand that machinery can and will break and stop working, but as someone who has come from the motor industry and spent many years in customer service, i must say at times these people had me banging my head against the wall, never before have i been treated like this, and furthermore i could never recommend this intstitute to anybody, what, to be told on a saturday afternoon absolutely tipping down with rain, that there are no loan cars available, the staff have left for the weekend, when i have managed to get the already mentioned vehicle into the garage yet again, broken down on me for the third time, to leave me sitting there saying he will lend me a phone to make arrangements for my transport home and just how was i supposed to get to work on monday morning? no im sorry this level of service is just not good enough, so after all this they took £700 off the price i paid, plus i had audio fitted to the vehicle £500 which is just sitting at home now, so no not great thanks a lot cornwall trade centre brilliant! p.s. i nearly forgot they charged me over £100 for diagnostics the first time it broke down, which after reminding them why did i pay that i still didn't get that back so it was over £800 i lost good eh? Awful service start to finish! I recently bought a used Peugeot 207 sw from Cornwall trade centre. Within two days it was taken back as the low oil light had come on. I was told that the oil had not been filled as part of the pre sales check and that this was an oversight. 300 miles later the oil light came on again, we were away so I filled the oil and informed the garage. I was told to take a note of the mileage and take the car back when the low oil light came back on. Another 300 miles and the light was back on, the car was booked in and various gaskets were changed as there was a leak. All seemed good. Yet another 300 miles and the light was on again I phoned the service department who told me to put more oil in and that this was perfectly normal. Of course I checked the official figures which stated that anything less the 600miles per 0.5 litres was unacceptable, I was using 1 litre per 300 miles. They still maintained that this usage is acceptable in that particular model. I ended up demanding they take the car back, which they did minus £500 off the purchase price! Please be very careful when buying any used vehicle from this company!
