Terrible. Huge line of people 20 mins in a que. 3staff walking round with tablets but not able to help the people in the queue, so they went and sat down. One person on the counter his colleague even asked if he was needed on counter the guy said no even with a huge queue and he was dealing with a complex issue that had already took 10 mins. I didn’t get what I needed as I was going to be late for work if I kept waiting. I’ll be looking at different banking options for the future.
I recently visited Halifax Bank on St Peter's Street in Nottingham,and I must say ,the service was exceptional.The manager went above and beyond to assist me with resolving an issue with my bank account.His professionalism and dedication are truly appreciated. I am very gratful for their assitance and highly recommend his branch for anyone needing bamking services in the area
I went in today as i needed some financial advice from the bank, I spoke to the manager Rick and he was very polite well dressed and gave some great advice, I left the building feeling a little less anxious about my finance's knowing I had some help on hand if I needed it and they would also help me with other enquiries further down the line. I couldn't thank Rick enough for his knowledge and advice.
The cashiers were really helpful the branch is a bit bare and difficult to find space in the location is pretty central. My query was not dully resolved but at least the staff did their best at the time to get through. Mind the times when you go as it gets quite busy during the afternoon.
Personally I've never had any problems/issues with this branch,always had a positive experience but I could do without all the Alphabet people/Pride ? Flags on various screens around the place,as a Normal/Straight man why don't I get a Straight day/month or a Straight flag ?.
Poor customer service. I went in to enquire switching to a different current account but wanted to talk to an actual human regarding the best options for me i was also happy to book an appointment - the lady was very rude about it. I hate how Halifax have removed the human side of banking.
Absolutely shocking had a Appointment for my 12 year old to open an account so I can put money in for her holiday so she is not carrying cash in a weeks time and they cancelled it a hour before and can't get me in for 3 weeks holiday before then. And then the lady starts shouting at me because I got upset
Queues are always horrendous - When I spoke to the cashier, I asked if I could change my Euros back to GBP and he instantly replied "no sorry, you can try one of the other banks, we don't exchange currency back to GBP". Then I replied but I ordered the Euros from Halifax in the first place? He then said "oh if that's the case, I can change it". Why didn't he ask me that in the first place? Service was slow, unprofessional and everything but "a people thing" which is Halifax's slogan.
it's 1pm. there are 8 people in a queue and only one cashier serving. the customer service girl is trying her best buy it would be better suited if she was behind the counter. I'm appalled at the service of this bank and when my current business here us finished shall take my banking elsewhere.the customer service in this bank is DISGUSTING AND the guy cashier is beyond rude. it's truly amazing in this day and age!!!
Impossible to speak to a person with Halifax or book an appointment. The online adviser will tell you to go to a branch and the local branch tells you to look online. So disappointing
