I see now why they pay you 100 pounds to switch your current account to a Halifax; they absolutely suck. Go to Metro Bank.

Very unprofessional stuff.They either do not know their job or they do it intentionally to steal our money. I opened a new account by giving them everything that they need (proof of address and ID). After some time assured me that the account was open and I could use it. They even send me my card and my pin numbers. I ordered a big money transfer from a bank in another country and the next day I received a mail saying that they need additional documentation and that my account is not open. The money returned back but I paid the conversion to GBP and then the conversion back to euro and the cost of the transaction to both banks. Total money lost due to the stuff mistake : 150 pounds.
