Went in for a brake bulb & had a free 10 point check, tyres all inflated. Excellent service, thankyou. And met The Vet Landrover Defender Help the Heroes vehicle! Fantastic!
Excellent service. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Dan found the correct light bulb and fitted it in under 10 mins for a fraction of the price I'd been quoted at snows mini! I saved £160 by using halfords instead of the snows dealership and also quicker as I'd of had to of waited several days for the light bulb and left my car with them too! Can't praise them enough!
Fantastic service when I took my bike in for repair. Simon and Sean were knowledgeable, helpful and polite. I had regular updates by phone and email. Repair was carried out quickly and professionally at a very reasonable cost. Thank you for getting me back on the road!
In store selection touch pad was wrong: said an incorrect wiper blade fit my car. Staff tried to be helpful but clearly wanted me to be liable for Halfords errors, and selected what turned out to be another incorrect wiper; too short this time. Eventually found what turned out to be a good fit but then found it was cheaper so they tried to refund the difference of a few pounds. Sounds good, doesn't it? The first requirement for their in-store refund process was a contact phone number! No way was giving them more ways to send me marketing. So I eventually had to refuse the refund. Thankfully the third wiper fit well. Good service totally hamstrung by hard sell marketing tactics.
Excellent service, acknowledge i was there, they were serving another customer at time and said they would be right back. Sorted me out with my windscreen wiper even though he had to put one together. Nothing too much trouble. Friendly and helpful.
James D was a fantastic help to me doing my 10 point health check and working out best way to save money going forward. He was also very friendly, knowledgeable and kind. As was the tall guy on the tills. Halfords are lucky to have such lovely people working for them.
We accessed the easy to use device in store, it's probably on their website as well, to make sure we bought the correct battery for our car. Steve, kindly arranged for Chris to fit it for us. As well as signing us up to Halfords Motoring Club Membership, which enabled us to a £5 voucher off the battery price and also a free 10 point check on our car. Everyone was so kind and efficient including Laura who dealt with the transaction. Great Team Work and service. Thank you
Returning customer. Every visit I have been greatly impressed with the level of customer service at this store. Today's visit was just the same. Everyone I spoke to was polite, friendly and very helpful. Well done Halfords Newport!
I can't give enough praise to Matt, who replaced inner tube and back wheel on my bike after a number of sharp stones ripped through my tyre causing the puncture. Matt was very polite and explained everything that he was doing to the bike to me. I really cant't thank him enough. Praise also goes to Carl, who helped put the bike back into my mini, not an easy task but he managed it. Thank you guys, a very happy customer.
02/11/22 PM Took my bike in for a pre inspection early, was due to be done on the 03rd, Matt dealt with me and what can I say, what a star! Nothing was to much, professional, helpful and went the extra mile to sort out my brake, gears and tyres! I couldn’t have asked for better service. He gave good advice and was very thorough with all his work, a credit to Halfords. If this is the type of service then I’m coming back
