I went to my local Halfords to purchase a Dash Cam. I asked for help to get the one with all the features I required. The assistant told me there was no such thing as a Dash Cam with warnings about Radar Speed Cameras and that I should not be travelling above the speed limit any way. He displayed a very high and mighty attitude and patronising manner. I have had 61 years accident free driving,I did not need this. Luckily Maplins had the exact camera I wanted and a very helpful assistant helped me choose the one with the Radar speed warning.

I am very happy with the service provided by the manager, the work always seems good and I think the prices are very reasonable.

Easy to book online and very efficient service when having an M.O.T. My only small criticism is the cost quoted to replace both front shockers. I won't be having it done at Halfords suffice to say, but that is no reflection on the great staff.

So took my car here to have a free brake check. Seemed very thorough and I went to pick up my car at 5:15 after finished work. The man explained what was wrong with my back brake cyclinders and said that the noise is due to just some uneven wear to brake which doesn't cause and safety issues. He then said it was cost £111 to repair and replace each back brake cyclinders. My husband took car elsewhere and was checked and there was nothingfound wrong with the cyclinders and al they needed was little oil and clean and the brakes are now fine. Free brake check my arse seems like they wanted to take some of my money for nothing so glad I said I'd take the car and think about it!!! Won't be using them again.
