Ordered and item that was not in store, informed it would come in on Wednesday and Halfords would phone me when it was ready for collection. However I called at the store on Thursday asked if item was in and was given it. So no promised phone call

Cat eye 150 rear light 22.99 online, 29.99 in store! I could have bought it on click and collect for the lower price. They did a price match but baffling why two different prices to start with.

Very helpful staff in the Penrith branch. Was looking for spray paint to touch up an older car and couldn't find the ref number. Numerous searches later they found a panel on the car with it on and managed to get me a tin - great service.
Bought my second ever electric bike from here. 1st was online & ended up too big & too heavy- too difficult to remedy also! In Penrith I was treated like a real person & got excellent advice - and if I'd not liked it - it could have been swiftly returned.
Ordered battery online. Halfords Penrith branch texted me within half hour of order to come to get battery fitted. Quick and efficient install of new car battery. Thanx all
I regularly use Halfords in Penrith for mainly smaller maintenance and service items for my cars. I am probably not Halfords' biggest spender, but their staff are always quick and willing to help me find the right products for my vehicles. They are not pushy, but when consulted, give me knowledgeable advice on the options, allowing me to make the final decision for myself. Some products seem expensive, but that is probably in contrast to on-line companies who don't have to maintain stores, - which are a clean and well-laid out place to browse. I don't think I have ever been dissatisfied with anything I have bought at Halfords.
