I was on holiday in Keswick and drove over a pothole damaging a front tyre. Andrew was very helpful in sorting out the replacement tyre and fitting. The job was done within an hour of the recovery drop off. Customer service was excellent. Something that could have spoilt my holiday was dealt with quickly and efficiently in a calm and friendly manner. Highly recommended.
We had two jobs in one was a small repair to a daily use car and the other some parts for a rare collector car, the first came back with the front logo badge jammed in the wrong way between the blades of the grille instead of the clips that were right next to it, front plate holder left loose, a small paint run on the edge and small debris in the paint, they did offer to repair but is 2 hour trip so decided to fix badge and plate and live with rest as it was a daily car, emphasising I expected better on the other work as it was a show car, I was told my parts for the other car hadn't been started and if I wasn't happy with their standard of work I could go and get them back... They had already had the parts well past the 2 weeks quote so didn't want to start over and continued to wait for them to do it. It was then a further 5 months before they did the work. Upon collection all the parts were wrapped and boxed up so I asked if they were all good and was told yes they are perfect, I trusted them and took them away. Upon inspection I found runs on the edges, Panel clips and foam padding had been painted over instead of removed, black rubber seals that I specifically mentioned being removed had been left on and painted over which had then caused the paint to lift and flake, a crack which was part of the repair was still cracked and painted over, everything was absolutely covered in debris in the paint, mixture of tiny raised dots and small hairs. I contacted them and was told to bring them back and they would sort it out. Another month passed before they completed the work again, When i went to collect the parts i checked them over and overall it was much better and the crack was repaired why was it not like this the first time though immediately spotted large defects in one items clear coat which was then taken in the back while I waited in reception then brought back after some sanding and polishing and was now alright again, why not checked and that done in the first place however there was still some small raised debris and most annoyingly yet again small hairs on some of the parts. I was told that if they where to paint them again it would be the same or worse and that it was impossible for anywhere to paint without leaving debris in the paintwork.That the hairs where probably from their lads coats as if that made it ok ? that stuff like that in the paint is normal in any body shop as it is a workshop environment and they were not prepared to do anymore They were aware of my distance and expectations yet failed me and failed themselves in the quality of work they believe is acceptable. I was disappointed to find this is the standard they openly work too and just as much if not more so the attitude they had when my concerns were raised. It's a real shame as the repair to the crack and the paintwork that didn't have debris the second time round was great so they obviously can do good work when they want to and I had heard good things in the past and hoped to take a lot of work to them but whatever has changed since then ,my experience was certainly not a good one.Service: Painting

A year and a half ago I had a small accident on my way to Keswick where I hit a rock which punctured my front left tyre, disarranged the wheel and messed up the whole front suspension. These guys prioritised my car, replaced my punctured tyre and tried to align my wheels which unfortunately wasn't enough due to the whole suspension needing work. The cost would've been too high so I decided to scrap the car. When I asked them to take the new tyre off the left wheel they did it without charging me for it or the alignment. I begged them to let me pay for the labour but they only accepted pennies for the electricity for the tyre inflation. Top people with top costumer service. P.S Sorry for the late review. What a great company! We called this morning with a flat tyre, left it with them a couple of hours, and they replaced the tyre for us. Really thankful for getting us sorted whilst we were visiting on holiday. Lovely friendly people with 2 gorgeous pooches Service: Tires
Had a flat tyre and needed repair doing ASAP They said I could come straight away. They made the best effort to repair the tyre even though the screw was reasonably close to the edge instead of just trying to push a new tyre sale. The price was reasonable too and all staff were so polite and friendly. Great Garage I'd definitely recommend going for honest, friendly service.Service: Tires
We'd heard loud clicking noises coming from the bottom of our car after running over a large stone, so we took the car to Greta Motor. The mechanic there kindly took a look at the car and then bent the steering rod back into place for free. We offered some money but he said that wasn't necessary. This fixed the issue and we were very grateful to the mechanic as it enabled us to continue our road trip in the Lake District. Thanks again!Service: Steering & suspension repair
