Just off the Broadway in Walsall by the football ground. Plenty of free parking available and couple of disabled bays right by the entrance. Fitting bay just outside and they have a marquee up so can fit items in any weather. I ordered a battery on line nice simple process and was ready 12 hrs later to collect. Opted out of the £15 fitting charge as it's a straight swap if It was a £5 I'd probably go for it - something to think about Halfords not to busy around 5pm ish on a Monday evening. But only 1 cashier on the till with a small queue. Ideal place for all your motoring needs, oil, wipers, stereos, paint, Garage tools etc etc. Decent range of touring and cycling items to suit all budgets. Would recommend for your motoring needs.
I’ve been to this branch on a few occasions and find the staff on the tills nonchalant. Rarely a ‘hello, or ‘Sorry to keep you waiting.’ But one particular time a customer was particularly rude towards me and pushed in front. The staff turned a blind eye. When I spoke to the assistant that served me, he shrugged his shoulders and claimed he didn’t see anything. Even when I told his about how upset I was, there was no conversation, again a shrug to show it’s not his problem. I left there absolutely seething. I know he saw as he looked up when I was spoken to. Harshly might I add.
Fantastic service from Mike regarding an e bike repair. Extremely knowledgeable thorough and professional throughout. Also Brad was extremely helpful with initial enquiry.
Had the worse customer experience I’ve had for a long time @ the Walsall store. Senior staff who was derogatory and patronising as well as the unhelpful store manager withholding names to prevent embarrassment - both of whom were out of step with the companies own returns policy. Instead, these 2 individuals took it on themselves to blame me for a poor qualify product that was not fit for purpose it broke whilst being fitted in front of them and I followed the fitting instructions. I was told, by the store manager, to contact customer service to find out what to do - who, after 15 mins on-line, quite rightly said I could return the item for a full refund if I was not happy with the quality of the product. Such a shame this experience - put me off using Halfords in future & got them a poor Google rating - all over a poor quality item, worth £17

Don't usually have positive experiences at halfords stores. But walsall bescot store was so helpful today. Thankyou to the two gentlemen that were working at around 8.50am this morning who sorted me out. Very friendly and happy to give me information.
Received excellent customer care from Heidi & Chris at the Walsall branch when they fitted a new car battery. Would highly recommend & will use Again I'm sure .
Firstly Dan the manager has to be one of the rudest person I've had the un-pleasure of talking to! the team damaged a bolt on the rear wheel and denied they did it they were the ones who last touched the car, we had to go to BMW for a replacement and get the damaged bolt removed! we also paid premium price and told our break pads supplied were Pagid, when checked due to a grinding noise coming from both front wheels, we were informed by a third party they had supplied Eicher pads super cheep......... Halford Auto centre walsall including Dan the manager have to be one of the worst auto centres in the midlands, and I would avoid to save your money and your time!
We went to get a new car seat for our granddaughter who had outgrown her old one..Tracy the sales person was very very helpful in our selection and after telling us fitting was not done anymore,proceeded to help us remove the old seat and showed us how to use the new seat correctly..Thank you again Tracy..you are a credit to your company..
Had a very daunting task of purchasing 3 bikes for 3 different age groups. With so many choices and very little knowledge of new bicycle technology, I was heavily leaning on the expertise of our customer sales agent, Mike. He was brilliant and helped us with every question we had. Unlocked every bike we wanted to test and had a very respectful and positive approach during our visit. Thank you so much for helping us out Mike. We love the products you helped us choose.
