Stopped to get a screw for licence plate that was hanging on on way home from work . The staff could not have been more helpful. Even had the manager come out to try various sizes several times . When we couldn’t get a size for the BMW Series 2 - they sorted me with heavy duty 2 sided tape to tie me over till I get chance to visit BMW. The staff and manager at this store are 5 Stars - Thank you
What a fantastic experience online and in store. Had a few problems with my bike and within 24hrs it was serviced and completely like new again. The colleagues are so helpful and friendly and will spend time with you explaining or helping you with any issues. Thank you.
Got want I needed, rear wiper for Honda jazz. Bit of a wait for paying, While guy on till sorted this customer out . Have said this before they should have a dedicated staff member to deal with returns and such, leaving till free for paying customers only.
AVOID. I bought a dash cam +fitting online and booked the appointment a week in advance no sooner slots available. I turned up on the day to be told the fitter doesn’t work Sundays and it would have to be rescheduled. Complete waste of time. Not helped by having to wait a week in the first place.
Joel is Brilliant! Popped, as I always do, to Halfords in Stockport for two new headlight bulbs for my Peugeot 3008. The helpful front desk could fit me in and I was lucky enough to get Joel to do the job. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Joel is a credit to Halfords. A BIG thank you as always.
8am dropped my vehicle off for a ten point inspection and to do a diagnostic check on glow plugs, 12pm , I phoned the garage to see how long it will be before I collect my vehicle, reply ! We are waiting for a bay to come free!!! 8am you open ? Surely mine should have been one of the first to get sorted, as I was told to have it there foe 8am? Then at 4.30pm I phoned again, reply they are just finishing off your vehicle, but unfortunately we can't fix your van you need to go to a specialist diesel garage to have it fix, but no cost for you, for us doing absolutely nothing!! No phone calls no communication from your garage, I did all the phoning to see how it was going, very disappointed in this lack of service, and to top that I have paid for premium, totally unsatisfied with your garage.
Shocking customer service. Took my bike in for repairs. Been waiting a week for an email or txt or phone call…. Nothing. My elderly father had to drive in and check. They lied to his face and told him emails had been sent!
Appalling service, unable to buy 2 bikes for twins from either Stockport or Ashton u Lyne, so bought one from each store, booking them to be built Thursday the day before their birthday, then received phone calls from both stores saying no bikes in stock, this was despite me spending an hour with their customer services who spoke with Ashton to make sure stock was available before I paid, the most annoying part was that the staff were totally unconcerned, and said that stock levels are often recorded wrongly, Stockport offered to obtain 2 bikes for Saturday, the day after their birthday, I asked if any other stores had stock, Altrincham did , but no availability to build bikes until Sunday. So buyer beware, you can order, book slots for bikes to be built, ‘ but we have an hour to cancel your order’. I asked for head office number to log complaint, was given the generic number, filled in an on line complaint, to date I haven’t received the transcript, and the on line chat person disappeared along with the transcript!!
5 stars to the 2 staff working without any support. Zero stars to Halfords Management for not providing support staff. Result long waiting time and some customers decided to shop elsewhere.
Wonderful, friendly service by a young competent lady at Halfords, London Road, Stockport. She changed my light bulb in record time! Thank you.
