So, on holiday. The AA recovered my vehicle and got me to to Halfords in St Austell. The AA wrongly diagnosed the issue with my car. We're on holiday with a small child and the AA we're difficult with a further recovery but after hours of calls and waiting we got recovered. Halfords looked after us, didn't charge us for their investigations as they could see it wasn't our fault. They were professional, kind and gave reassurance and sound advice. I would highly recommend using them as they are real people with good work ethics. Thank you Halfords, especially Gary and Steve on the front desk.

This morning, Friday 15/09/17, my car ignition battery failed and due to being new to the car I was essentially 'locked out.' On an extremely wet morning I attended St Austell Halfords and was extremely fortunate to meet 'Nick' who had the time and patience to repeatedly fiddle with the key mechanism to fit a new battery. It doesn't sound like much but when you've walked a mile or two in heavy showers a little means a lot. Thanks Nick ! I got back to my car and the key entry system worked like a dream and by the way there's a key slot on the underside of the door handle to use the plastic key. Cheers !

Went in just before closing, asking load of questions about a product and the staff still gave me full attention didn't seem to mind a bit by that. what a great service

Went for a paint mixing service. No-one at counter. Lady at cash tills said it could be organised if I came back at 5pm. Till operator then said I could only order touch up paints as they had no aerosols to put the paint in which I required. She then suggested an alternative (not Halfords) shop to buy the product. Amazed that such a big concern was so short staffed and didn't have any cans to put stuff in. The competitor she recommended did however sort me out. So 2stars for the till operator but none for Halfords.

Lady on the tills Not helpful infact i would go as far as to say rude she was the only one we could see in the shop maybe employ a few more went in for car radio and dvd player for car no one to help left empy handed
