Ordered carpet , couldn't fit first time as job had been poorly scheduled. On second attempt found carpet had been measured incorrectly and would not fit. Estimator was scheduled to come and re-measure. Failed to show but claimed to know what problem was so re-ordered carpet. On third fitting attempt found carpet was again too short - exactly the same error had been made. Carpet was re-ordered. This time it came in sub-standard so was re-ordered. The next delivery failed to show. We were given a token compensation payment for all the inconvenience ( after much chasing). When we finally said enough is enough, a full refund was given (after problems with the system) less the compensation. It was promised that the compensation element would be sent from head office. Never received it. Shocking service, poor communication (we had to chase) and a big disappointment. If in St Austell would suggest using Cost Style instead - competitive prices, reliable and great customer service.

Whilst the sales assistant was very professional and helpful during selection of the carpet and cushioned flooring the fitters were not so good. They left several marks on the skirting boards which is possibly the normal thing. However the cushioned flooring was very poorly fitted with no wooden board underlay as promised. It took several weeks of asking when this flooring would be put right until eventually we asked for a refund for the wooden boards which carpetright agreed to. This refund also had to be chased up! My advice if you still wish to use this company is to NOT pay for the fitting, no matter what the sales assistant promises you, until you are totally happy with the fitting.

Been waiting for our carpet to be lay for 14weeks and counting! And we live 15minutes away from the store! Iv called everyday and no one is getting back to me! Beyond a joke
