Dear Halfords Doncaster Team,nnI am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the Yuasa 5000 series car battery that I purchased from your Doncaster store approximately three months ago for my vehicle Renault Megane, registration: NX11 XDM.nnRecently, my car broke down in the middle of the night outside the city limits. As it was an emergency situation, I had to arrange for the vehicle to be towed to an independent garage. Upon inspection, I was informed that the battery was faulty and I had to replace it immediately to make the car roadworthy.nnSince the battery was relatively new, I did not initially suspect it to be the cause and had no prior indication of battery failure. After contacting your store, I was advised that the battery was simply recharged and returned to me as “working well.” However, I have not been provided with any proper proof of battery health or a diagnostic report confirming that it is reliable.nnThis has caused me significant inconvenience and expense, including towing charges and emergency replacement costs. I am concerned about the safety risk of continuing to use this battery, especially if my car breaks down again in an out-of-station location. I am not comfortable keeping and using a battery that has already failed within three months of purchase.nnI had earlier contacted customer care and was informed that a refund or replacement could be considered, but the store has not supported this and the issue remains unresolved.nnGiven the circumstances, I kindly request one of the following:nn* A full refund for the faulty battery, orn* A replacement with a new battery of equivalent specification.nnI believe this is a reasonable request considering the early failure and the risk involved in continuing to use the same battery.nnPlease let me know the next steps to resolve this matter at the earliest.

Just had upgraded headlight bulbs replaced. Excellent quality, price without going mad. Made purchase & fitting appointment on line day before, all went, as planned. Very friendly & knowledgeable staff. No messing about, saved me getting cold, wet  n dirty.Thanks

I recently purchased an e-bike through the Cycle to Work scheme and had the pleasure of dealing with the bicycle department at Halfords Doncaster. From my first visit, the staff member was incredibly kind, professional, and patient. He answered all my questions in detail, allowed me to try different frame sizes, and gave me excellent advice that helped me choose the perfect size for my height.nnWhen my bike was ready for collection, he went above and beyond by arranging for me to pick it up a day earlier than scheduled. At collection, he took the time to explain every feature of the bike, completed the final checks with great care, and even fitted my accessories mudguards, kickstand, and bottle holder free of charge.nnThis is customer service at its very best – knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure the customer leaves happy. I highly recommend the Doncaster Halfords bicycle department to anyone looking for advice, a new bike, or accessories.

Could not have asked for more at the Doncaster branch early this morning. Nothing too much trouble. Kyle ? Technician carried out the battery change with care and precision. He was very personable and made the job look simple. As a pensioner it was pleasing to be treated with care. Always recommend Halfords to our family & friends.

Bought 4 brand new tyres from Halfords on Saturday and had my tyre fitting appointment today booked for 11.30. I attended Halfords auto centre at 9.30 this morning to tell them that I was being called into work early, and to ask how long the tyre fitting would take. The person working there told me they would be able to fit me in immediately and my tyres were on by 11.00, no issues. Impressed with the service and price. Well done Halfords.
