I bought a Freesat from Powerhouse. After one month it stopped working. They told me I had to contact the manufacturer direct. Eventually the manufacturer replaced the equipment but Powerhouse refused. It took 6 weeks to replace. The suppler could have this  done this straight away. I will never buy there again.

Absolutely disgraceful customer service! This company miss sells items and then DENYS this and will not give refunds even though THEY have messed up! The director, Jas Toor promises to investigate matters then avoids any contact at all...appauling! Robbed of £340.00!!! AVOID THIS SHOP LIKE THE PLAGUE.  VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

Absolutely terrible company. Will never, ever use them again. Ordered a washing machine on the 15th Feb. Not received till the 1st?! Told on the 17th it was damaged so had to be resent; no callback for 9 days despite tons of calls. Either never picked up, fobbed off with promised callbacks, or rude staff, or told to keep writing emails. Delivery company dragged the washer across my floor, gouging and scuffing my kitchen floor. Washer came dented, scratched, bits snapped off. Machine doesn't work. Drum Makes a grinding sound, and it leaks. Non washing machine for weeks, hundreds of £££ down, now face a nightmare getting a refund to be able to get a proper washing machine. I have contacted citizens advice, will ask trading standards to step in. I may be taking legal action for the breach of contract; not providing a solution in reasonable time, and damage to my property. Looking at their returns policy on the website, it seems they are trying to limit the customers rights under the Consumer rights act 2015 ; you can't make a return dependant on packaging. A customer has the right to test and operate the goods, to test it's quality. The seller is responsible for collection at their expense , not the buyer, when an item is damaged. Please, please, please, if you are reading this, AVOID POWERDIRECT!!!

Went in to buy a Fridge Freezer American style & DVD/PVR player which they sell via the web site. They had limited display of the style we wanted and NONE DVD / PVR on display. 
A sales man approached us after giving us time to look, which was good, and asked if he could help. We said we were looking for an American style and he said he would go and have a look about getting one in, great.
Waited around for five mins then spotted him serving someone else at the tills !!!

Walked out . Will not go back

We just bought a fridge freezer on free deilivery from you,, what a frigging joke you people are,,being a pensioner with a heart problem, it was just left in the middle of our kitchen floor, for us to unpack also to install it, i rand the shop to complain regarding this,but the said manager was busy at the time, i was told, so i got in my car and went over there in person to have words with him, he just said, because it was free delivery that is how its done, he also explained to me, that if had paid an extra ten pounds to you people, then they would have done all that for me, i for one, was not in any way told this.....i shall let you know this, we shall never use this store ever again,they are taking the p[iss
