2nd visit to Halfords Trowbridge. Our first visit was really good but today was a different story. We went to have a headlight bulb fitted. Found the headlight bulb easily and the fitting process was easy. They offered a free 10 point check whilst the headlight bulb was fitted. On paying they wanted email/mobile and house details so they could send the receipt. We paid and then noticed on the receipt that they had changed us for the so called free check and had also signed us up to their car club without telling us. On challenging this they said we could claim the 10 point check fee back via the car club.nWe got our money back and will definitely not be using them again. Do not give them any personal details when paying as they do not use the information for sending just your receipt.

Had dash cam fitted front and rear. Had to take back twice as rear cam interferes with radio signal. No problems sorting out and very friendly helpful service.

This was actually a warranty exchange for a battery that I bought nearly 2 years ago.nI had my receipt and I think 3 members of staff came to help me at the desk, and then tested my battery on the car and confirmed it needed changing. The battery was swapped out with zero quibble within a few minutes. The guys that helped me were very pleasant and attentive and even came out to admire and compliment my old car. Modern batteries don’t last like they used to but I always buy mine at Halfords because the prices are competitive and warranty claim process is so simple.  Thanks guys, see you again.

James at Halfords went above and beyond today. I purchased a second-hand Fiat 500 earlier in the day which had a missing headlight bulb and he gave me good guidance on the options and got the replacement fitted quickly. He also looked over the car and gave me advice on the tires, battery, and general condition of the car. I really appreciated it!
