Friendly and helpful staff. That went above and beyond to help with informative information about the bike I was looking for, to fit it together, and to also include me in assisting me up the stairs. I was able to walk in and out within an hour with a bike, additional added features, and other things I was interested in due to helpful and friendly atmosphere. There were 3 staff in particular when I went in on friday the 12/12/25 in the afternoon that made the experiance worth while. They made it a joyous experiance for an informative and enjoyable spending spree. 2 staff upstairs. One slight thick build, stubble beard with dark hair, that initially helped me up the stairs so I could over see what they had to offer. Was very informative on what I needed and the lock I had help in choosing. A long haired gent that put the bike together and advised what additional items and what water bottle holder would be the better to use. And last but not least a gentle welcoming lady, that made me feel at ease at the downstair tills, when I chose to purchase another item due to feeling good by staff, and how accommodating they were. I often struggle, having a new born baby. And these staff do not know that I also suffer with audhd and anxiety. They are a credit to society and Halfords community. Thank you. My eldest son thoroughly loves his new bike and excessories.
I recently took my car to Halfords for a battery replacement and was helped by Jay. The service was excellent from start to finish. Jay was friendly, professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. He explained everything clearly, got the job done quickly, and made the whole process very straightforward.nnReally appreciate the efficient service and great attitude. Credit to Jay and the team, I’d happily recommend them and wouldn’t hesitate to come back again.
I visited Halfords in Chatham today and had an excellent experience. I went in to buy new headlight bulbs and have them fitted, and the service was fantastic from start to finish.nnJay served me and was quick, efficient and amazing — truly great customer service. I was seen straight away, my headlights were fitted very quickly, and I was in and out within 15 minutes, which is especially impressive on a busy day.nnI didn’t catch the names of the team member sorry! who fitted the bulbs, but I want to say a big thank you to Jay and to everyone involved. Brilliant service all round, and I’ll definitely be returning!
Came in on very busy Sunday morning to get two headlights and wipers changed! Billy managed to get it done within 15 minutes despite a slight issue with the rear wiper which was quickly addressed! All the staff were very helpful! Would definitely recommend!
Visted Halfords Chatham today to buy 2 headlight bulbs for wife,s Renault Clio.nWas offered a fitting service which was only just more than the cost of the 2 bulbs elsewhere.nLizzie who fitted them was polite,thorough and clearly experienced at what she did as they were fitted and working in less than 10 minutes.Previous experience from Renault Main dealer was requiring front bumper removal and 2 hours labour.nTotal experience today at Halfords Chatham was positive and again a special mention to Lizzie for a super quick job...despite temperature sub zero
