As always, excellent blond highlights from Terry. For many years I had used harsh bleach highlights which had caused a lot of damage to my hair with all the chemicals that they contain. I am now a convert to the much better natural seaweed bleach highlights, which give the same light blonde finish, but look much more natural. Also, much healthier and environmentally friendly. I have been having this done for a few years, and my hair is now transformed - silky and in the best condition ever. All staff are very friendly but and welcoming but Leo is my favourite stylist , the atmosphere is super nice and relaxing . I had a cut and blow dry at the salon. The best features were the organic products for the wash and styling, which could also be bought from the salon. I mainly wanted to get a good cut for my banks. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Even though I asked the stylist to start with the banks so that the rest of the hair was shaped around the fringe, it was cut last, and the next customer was already waiting. The cut of the fringe was rushed. The stylist did not ask me before deciding to cut the fringe and make it much bigger than I wanted. When I left and realised the fringe was too big, I returned to the salon, requesting it to be fixed if possible. While not charging additionally, in the space of 3 minutes, without discussing the likely result, he styled it by thinning it. In the process, he was complaining, making it appear my fault that I 'changed my mind' for the cut of the fringe when I was trying to fix his mistakes resulting from tiny and ineffective communication on his part. I had to carry the fringe on the side with a hairclip since the cut, which is a shame, especially given how much I paid. When a good stylist would cut my fringe, they would start from the longest and gradually begin reducing it. Discussing what they will do before they cut and the possible outcome, cut it and then discuss a possible further cut. They would also cut the fringe when wet, dry it to show the result and then wet it again before reducing it a bit further.Service: Hairstyling
I really wanted to recognise and give a huge thanks to Leo. I went to him for the first time beginning of December, 7months post partum. He listened so carefully but best of all, he just “knew” instinctively what to do. I felt so comfortable in his genius hands and completely trusted him. The cut and colour was fabulous, the best I’ve ever had. Perhaps the real sign of the quality is that 2 months later, I’m still delighted with the colour and cut. The lovely Kristof carried out an organic detox treatment on my hair, and transformed it - it's so soft, shiny and the trim and blow-dry that he also did had my normally mirror hating self preening in every window I passed. First time having my hair dyed after struggling with patch test reactions from other brands....the whole experience was amazing from start to finish. Leo is a complete genius enhancing my hair back to it's natural red and the results are so natural and beautiful. The products are really gentle and I'm chuffed to bits. I was looking for a hair salon in the Notting Hill area that is using natural and organic cosmetics, and that's how I found Hair Organics. I was able to book the same day appointment due to a cancellation of other client, which was great for me. I had an avocado oil scalp treatment, haircut, blow dry and styling by Terry, and I couldn't be more happy. He explained to me every step and all the products that he used, which are all sustainable, organic and made in the UK. Terry is very professional and has a great knowledge. All the team was friendly and kind, I really liked the atmosphere. The place is beautiful, with a lot of natural lighting and a great location. As mentioned on their website, there is 20% discount provided for the first-time clients, which is nice. I'm very happy with my haircut, it's healthy-looking and moisturised. From the moment I arrived I knew I had found my local salon we recently moved to the area. Everyone is lovely, attentive, thoughtful. Multiple people offered me tea or coffee. And when I sat down in Angie’s chair, she did not hesitate to share her wisdom around caring for my curly hair. In fact she shared her own personal regimen with me so that I can improve my hair’s health and learn to love my curls. The organic products are as good as advertised, too. I took home the thickening spray and can see myself slowly building up my at home set. All in all, highly recommend to anyone in the area frankly, anyone in London. xx
