If like me and just the thought of going to a conventional gym, with both male and female members, makes you feel uncomfortable. Then Gymophobics is the one for you. Please don't worry about your shape or size, as we have all been in that situation, that's why we've joined. Tracey, Vanessa and Rachael are there to point you in the right direction. Just like they have for all us other ladies that attend. I myself have been going to Gymophobics since the very first day it opened in Macclesfield. Not only have I got my confidence back, I have lost inches, changed shape and dropped a clothes size. I aim to attend 5 times a week, and love every minute of it. Each lady gets there own little card, which has they're own individual information and set programme. You get regular reviews, so you won't be doing the same programme all the time. No lady has the same, as we all work at our own pace and seed. 30 minutes is all it takes, unless you decide to take advantage of any of the extra workouts, or if you have got time to spare make the most of the free tea and coffee and have a chat with any of the ladies. So what are you waiting for, pick up the phone or just call in for a chat and make that appointment for your visit. Once you've got the hardest part out of the way, you will really enjoy your visits.

Every one is very friendly and helpful, the gym instructors are always on hand to help and for advice. I have lost a stone and 16 inches, only 30 minutes of exercise and it works! It's ladies only and we are all different shapes and sizes and different levels of fitness. I love going to the gym and I would certainly recommend visiting them for an induction.

I called up Gymaphobics one day after deciding I needed to get fitter and lose some weight, I have tried conventional gyms with no success. I made an appointment to be shown round and use a few of the machines. I was met by Vanessa who showed me round the gym and how the machines work, I signed up the next day. The plan was tailored to meet my needs and requirements, I must admit I feel so much better in my health and fitness. The half hour circuit fits into my day and I manage to go 5 nights a week, after all half an hour out of your day is nothing. I also use the vibro plate for 10 mins 2-3 times a week which I feel is helping my circulation, i do a couple of the workout dvd’s once a week, mainly focusing on my arms. The staff Tracey, Rachel and Vanessa are truly amazing people and help not only with my fitness and diet but I feel they have become friends. The other ladies who attend the gym are lovely and nobody judges you. I look forward to going to the gym every weeknight.
