Set in stunning surroundings on the floor of a soggy valley in rural mid Wales, hostess Jonny sees to it that guests arrive feeling in equal parts welcome and disturbed. To your average out-of-town city dweller, the neo-imperialist/rocky horror-esque themes of their soirees may come across as distasteful and old hat, but I found it to be charmingly in keeping with the timeless feel of the locality... if highly inappropriate for current weather conditions (late January- brrr!) Legend has it a powerful sorceress keeps watch on the establishment from her lair in the adjacent woods, making sure guests are always on their best behaviour in this deliciously tempting environment. A "must see" visit if in the area. BYO.

Eclectic mix of groovers. Charming hostess. Really no competition in the area for this kind of experience. BYO
