We've passed the Gurkha Tingmo Palace many many times but never got around to going in - we're glad we did. The food (we chose from the Tibetan/Nepalese menu) was extremely good and the restaurant has a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere and the staff are attentive. This will become a favourite in Buxton

Not had Nepalese or Tibetan food before. Beautiful fresh food, spicy so if that's not your taste select mild dishes. Good service slightly delayed due to large party upstairs but apology given for this. Would definitely return.

The curries are delicious. Got the vegetable korma and butter chicken. Naan and flavoured rice also delicious. Decor of the restaurant quite static and white with a bit of christmas lighting. Maybe can make it more colorful and use yellow lighting, makes the food and ambiance looks better! All with all, excellent.
