Staying for the night in the area and the hotel didn’t provide food. Wandered into town and saw an interesting looking restaurant. We didn’t have a reservation but we were welcomed and fortunately there was a table available. This is a cosy restaurant and I can imagine that it gets busy so generally I would imagine reservations would be recommended. The decor was very pleasant and there was a very relaxing feel to the restaurant. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. The food was utterly amazing. The duck and lamb were both cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth. The seasonal vegetables were tasty and the way in which the cauliflower was cooked was unusual but delicious. The staff were all very accommodating for any requests that we had and nothing was too much trouble. For the overall experience and quality of food this is a very reasonably priced restaurant. A meal like this in my home town (London) would easily be three times the price. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you get the chance.

Pretty to look at but the food was poor. Ordered 3 dishes and all quite wide of the mark. Onion soup like bisto gravy, hake with a bizarrely flavoured fluorescent yellow sauce and a bass served in a thin tomato broth. I got the feeling this may have once been good but maybe the chef has changed. This one can't cook. Nice enough bottle of Chablis though.

Hi WOW What an amazing place this is, the staff are the most polite people i have ever come across and the food just simply the best i have tasted set in beautiful surroundings all at a very reasonable price this place should have a Michelin star would definitely return Thanks for such a great experience Kenny and samantha wortley

Lovely clean relaxing decor. Staff very friendly, considerate and professional. The meals were absolutely gorgeous.
