Serves a good variety of sandwiches hot and cold, pies and pasties, buns and hot food. Staff are lovely. Food is what you'd expect from a local town cafe.
Top quality pies and pasties baked fresh daily. Hot and cold sandwiches made to order.
Loved "Wonky Wednesday" offer of two wonky pork pies for the price of one £1.15, And cracking pies they were too, at the perfect warm temperature with the right amount of jelly. Parking spot outside on the road is ideal.
Went in at half past 1 and be told sorry hot plates off. Not like what would you like love? What can we get you? Was empty, rather than prepping to close with 3 of you. Prep to actually serve. Pointless saying 3pm, change opening times.

Worst place to order food from, very rude staff in the shop and over the phone. Forgot half of our order and the food was undercooked and cold. Worst experience I've had with a cafe. AVOID!!!!!!!!
A pork pie is a pork pie. Wrong! Either the pastry is good or the filling is good. Growlers gets it all right. Best pork pies this side of Leeds. Their on Richardshaw Lane Pudsey and worth a visit. They do different toppings and bigger stand pies, for parties and Christmas, but, my favourite is still the humble and original porkish pie. Oh yes they do sweet stuff too.
