Went in after my 2 year old asking with the christmas decorations in the window, ordered jacket potato for myself and scrambled eggs and beans for little one, food came little one needed toilet they wouldn't let her go so not only did they waste my time they wasted my money too as she couldn't eat it. The only reason I gave 2 stars was because the lady that served us was really nice. After doing a bit of research I have found that by law a cafe has to provide toilet facilities if they seat more than 10 this facility seats 16??
Not made to feel welcome at all, none of the staff acknowledged us, did not offered any help sorting out the highchair and the menu was very limited. The only positive is that the lemon drizzle was lovely, but the atmosphere was dreadful. First and last time, think the staff need to go on customer service training.
Used this company to get catering for a funeral. The food selection was excellent, delicious and very reasonably priced. They even delivered it to our venue which saved a lot of time and hassle on an already very stressful day. We received a range of sandwiches, cakes, biscuits, sausage rolls, pork pies and quiche. The food was high was quality and there was more than enough to go around. I'd definitely recommend for off site catering.
Tried this place for the first time today with a couple of friends. When we walked in we were greeted by a lovely young lady who asked what we would like-having never been before we were looking at the food and drink selection to decide what we wanted,an older lady came out of the kitchen and again asked us what we wanted to order and we explained we were looking at the menu she could see that the younger lady was already serving us she huffed and demanded we tell her what drinks we wanted-which we hurriedly did! Our coffees arrived which were lovely My friend asked where the toilets were,the lady who had been impatient and huffed at us earlier very rudely informed us that there were no toilet facilities as she left our coffees and walked off ! Food arrived-2 of the jacked potatoes were ok and the 3rd one was cold in the middle and couldn’t be eaten. After realising the attitude of the older lady in there-we decided not to bother saying anything as we couldn’t be bothered with the attitude. Needless to say-we will not be returning. What a shame our first and last experience was so bad as the place itself is lovely inside and other staff seemed pleasant. We’ll stick to what we know and love in the future!...Coopers....here we come!!!!
The "older-ish" lady has a RANK ATTITUDE!!! Been in twice, both times, had attitude from the lady. She basically speaks to you like you're inconveniencing her by ordering food. She must have forgotten. Her attitude and energy is vile. If she doesnt own the place she needs sacking immediately.
The breakfast sandwiches and cakes are nice. The only thing that let it down was the greeting, there really wasn't one. A smile and a cheery hello go a long way in customer service.
Excellent food, gorgeous coffee at amazing prices. The interior is cosy and comforting and the staff are lovely.
Very friendly staff. Excellent food at such reasonable prices. Lovely atmosphere.
First time in today was very pleased with the food and service will definitely be going again
Comfy cafe / bakery with decent range of food & drink options. Enjoyed the teacakes, which can also be bought in store.
