We are a family-run vets with surgeries in Torquay and Paignton (79 Kingsway Avenue). All our vets exclusively treat pet animals.

Story

We are a friendly, family-run vets with surgeries in Torquay and Paignton. Every pet is unique, and as a small team we can get to know you and your pets as individuals. Since taking on the practice in 2014, practice owners, John and Laura Mather, have invested heavily in refurbishments, new equipment and staff training with the aim of offering the best veterinary care locally.

We are accredited under the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme, which quality assures practices and their facilities. Both our surgeries are also ISFM recognised Cat Friendly Clinics.

Went in with our very nervous cat and we were so happy with everything. From the warm welcome at reception and the thorough examination to the kind student nurse who told us how pretty our girl is. I am really glad we chose to move to Greenbay.
I have nothing to say but huge thank you for the care and empathy shown from all you staff members. My gorgeous kitty has been looked after so well in your practice for months. Even when it was time to say goodbye to our boy, all staff members taken so much time and care, not only looking after my kitty also looking after me. I have received a welfare call from one on your staff sending condolences, I found this very touching. I highly recommend you to all my friends and definitely will use your practice in the future.
The actual vets are great team, who are warm kind and caring and are great at their job. But the receptionist Sue is cold, RUDE and abrupt. And shows no warmth to people bringing in their sick fur baby’s…

Great place,great veterinary staff. Only two stars as the receptionist they have is absolutely vile!!!! She used to work for another veterinary company. And the amount of complaints I’m surprised a great vets like greenbay would employe such a person. My own experience I took my very poorly little girl to the vets as she was so poorly. To be met with the absolute vile vulgar receptionist who spoke to me absolutely disgustingly made me feel absolutely disgusted!!!!! I’m at a vets for a reason. Because my fur baby is poorly and I’m met with a disgusting attitude very bad manners and a disgusting attitude was also called a liar by this receptionist!!! After this incident I never went back and changed my vets. Greenbay this is absolutely no attack on you. But my personal experience I would highly consider training your very Destructive bad mannered untrained in customer communication receptionist!!!! Really is giving a great vets an awful name!!!!!
Absolutely the best vet service I have ever experienced. They went above and beyond in the treatment of my little dog!!!
Never used Greenbay as not living in the area. I'm extremely fussy about vets for my ferrets but they are by far the one I'd choose if closer. Ferret owners looking for the best vet for your furbabies....as a ferret rescue I recommend these.
Great vets, excellent care of my grandma's bird from the exotics specialist and very reasonable pricing.
