A reliable local vet and has been our go-to for many years. However, it's essential to request a receipt when paying in cash; otherwise, you may receive a duplicate bill in the mail. We consistently settle the payment before leaving, how can we walk out without paying on the day? Unfortunately, on Tuesday, October 24th, 2023, we paid by cash and someone stole the money. We are more than willing to pay for the services rendered, but it's disheartening when funds are taken, whether intentionally or not. This experience is far from pleasant.
The team at Dartvale always go above and beyond to help you and your pet. No matter what the problem is it is never too much. My particular vet Katie has been superb in supporting me and my dog Mia who was going through Cushing’s disease. She would call and email to check how Mia was doing which I have never had before. Unfortunately Mia passed but the support, empathy and love from Katie and the team has been second to none. What touched my heart was the card signed from the whole practice for Mia with a forget me not watercolour on the front of the card. Inside were forget me not seeds to plant in memory of Mia. I have been with Dartvale for over 15 years and they have never let me down.
Recently been on holiday, and we had to take our dog for an emergency appointment. The care we received was absolutely amazing from reception staff to the vet we saw Sophia. She showed so much compassion, looked into our dogs needs, phoned me after our appointment and given us a diagnosis.we had seen vets prior to this and no one could give us an answer. She really tried her very best to give our dog the best care, I will be forever grateful, thankyou so much.
Lots of parking and easy to find. We were greeted and seated quickly, and even got too see the vet early. The staff were nice, but the vet we saw was particularly pleasant.
Love the girls on reception always friendly and helpful and never grumpy when busy Duke adores the vets and Kevin is the top Vet ** Cant fault them and its nice to have a down to earth Vet
A beautiful team with a caring way to remind you to pay a bill after the loss of a beloved pet. A condolence card signed by all the practice with sympathy and heart felt messages. Keep up the good work.
Fantastic practice. Kevin the vet and all of the reception staff have been so helpful. Been with this practice for over 10 years and would not go anywhere else. When our cat had to be out to sleep, all of the staff were so comforting and supportive.
Had dog euthanised and was told 2 to 3 weeks to get ashes.....waited til week 4 and rang....was told someone tried to contact me on 7th which was week 1......apparently my phone was engaged.....so nobody tried ringing again. Also would have been nice to have either a paw print in ink or clay offered for price paid. Apart from that when I picked up ashes the nurse was very nice so I still recommend the company....just a few things that I have mentioned would have made it a better experience
Brilliant! I have 2 very anxious Chihuahuas and nobody could cut their nails, the Vet at Dart vale was so lovely and calm and she did them with minimal fuss! Would definitely recommend
