The only thing I miss about living in Broxburn is that this isn't my local Chinese anymore. By far the best Chinese iv had. Would gladly drive from west calder to pick it up the food is absolutely amazing. Best salt and pepper chips and the lady who worked there was always lovely and welcoming and gave ma wee lass free fortune cookies which absolutely made her day
Food took 1hour 20 min to arrive.. If you call to check on the food the woman answering the phone sounds like she can't be bothered to be there and will tell you your foods leaving now when you still have 30 mins to wait for it . When you question the driver about the length of time who is the only driver so not his fault there's no apologies just excuses.
Best Chinese around the local area, no point ordering from anywhere else if you want a decent Chinese takeaway.
We order a big feast for the crew and they get the order wrong which I mean can't be happening we had 10 hungry hippos waiting to eat and yous got it wrong disappointed is an understatement. We then phone them back up and be like hawl you got it wrong and they said yes yes we will send it again and then we get it a while later and they still get it wrong when everyone heard what she asked for and thats not what we got so we are now raging and turning into alcoholics because of You
Best Chinese in Broxburn by far! Iv moved from the area and still drive back for a decent Chinese. ! Best salt and pepper chips I ever tasted! Never had a bad meal from GJ! Large portions and friendly staff! I wouldn’t go anywhere else 5+++++++++++
Used this Chinese takeaway maybe 2-3 times. Always been as it should. Slightly more expensive than most other takeaways in the area. Never a long wait on ordering but the takeWay itself is a minimalistic to say the least. But I am not here for the hospitality or the warmth. Couldn’t care if they cooked it in an industrial unit then delivered to your home. Food was hot and delicious. Straightforward Chinese takeaway.
Disappointing. BBQ ribs were pretty bland, aromatic crispy duck wasn't crispy and didn't come with any shredded cucumber or spring onion. Good prawn crackers and salt and pepper chips were ok. Would have been good to be told at point of ordering that there was an hour and a half wait for delivery rather than when we phoned after an hour incase the driver was lost.
Food arrived quicker than expected an very hot even though take away is a fair distance away, ribs had lots of sauce an very nice meals were excellent, the free wings were very tasty will be using the Green Jade from now on, it's a great find
First time here - Special chow main has large pieces of meat and is in a gravy of sorts.. Not what I'm used to. Salt and pepper chips were limp and average.
Well flavoured meals not to hot .. unless you have white wine it makes spices hotter lol.
