diminutive but noisy place you might know, in the fashionable west end of london town.
Great Queen street is a small-ish bar and restaurant serving a daily changing menu of hearty, seasonal food; sourced mainly from the British Isles and, when we think it's appropriate, Europe (especially France and Spain). We buy the best stuff we can from small, independent farms, fishmongers and producers. And, when it gets to the kitchen, we don't mess about with it. Our wine and beer list takes a similar stand. You can book a table but walk ins are welcome, especially if you don't mind eating at the bar. Most reviews of this place forget to mention that there is another wee but mighty fine bar in our basement too, with a great drinks menu and a brilliantly eclectic playlist, courtesy of Alex. We are the sister establishment to The Anchor and Hope in Waterloo.
