Found the brunch at Christopher's a bit over-hyped. I was kind of expecting a composed and balanced plate for the price rather than having to add the toppings yourself except the ice cream, which might have actually been nicer on the side. The french toast was okay. The pancakes were a crumbly disappointment. The tea was basic. The menu overall seemed to have a lot of meat focus so could be off-putting for vegans and vegetarians. Vegetarian options: Very meat focussed menu
I absolutely loved this place. This is a really nice spot to go for a special date night. It is set a short walk away from Covent Garden Station. They have seating downstairs which is more like bar type of seating and upstairs which is more like the formal dining room. We sat upstairs and admired the London view from the top. The architecture was exquisite too. We went for brunch and ordered avocado toast on sour dough bread and a wagyu burger with truffle fries. If it was later in the day we would have gone for the steak. The service was excellent and the waiters were able to identify what was halal from the menu. We ordered the famous chocolate French toast to follow and it really was worth the hype. This place was really extra special and I genuinely felt it was a nice quite place to have a meal with your loved ones. It came with a hefty price tag of around £40-50ph and there is a service charge attached. I would go again for the steak!
I can understand why people would like this place and would rank it highly, but I think it's just very expensive for what it is. Given the amount of competition in London for brunch, I don't think the food here is innovative enough, nor are the classics absolutely perfect.Food: 3/5
I took my husband for his birthday at Christopher’s and we left so pleased! The food was beyond expectations, the service impecabile, the atmosphere calm, we requested a table with a view towards Lyon King theatre and the staff changed our table promptly. We have ordered Sweet rum martini and Lychee martini which was perfect choice! We absolutely loved it! Highly recommending this place.
We were running late and called up to let them know. We had a table at the bar and they let us place a food order even though it was so late, super accommodating! The French toast is to die for, worth going that alone. Would highly recommend.
The French toast is not only beautiful to look at but to eat too ! Me and my sisters travel to London just to eat at Christopher’s ! . They are very accommodating if you need to change your booking time and the staff are so so kind , hardworking and very polite I’d highly recommend it .Food: 5/5
I have been in this bar restaurant for a brunch. I absolutely loved it. I loved the environment. The food was very delicious and we both liked it. We ordered the buttermilk chicken burger, truffle egg sandwich, 2 cappuccino and sides. The staff is very polite. I will definitely be back!
The chocolate French toast is phenomenal! July 2024 Update: Went back here. It’s just as good, plus now most of the meat dishes are halal! We had the chicken and waffles, they were pretty good. We’ll be back for the Wagyu burger next time.
