Great food with super friendly servers! I’d definitely recommend the smoke haddock fishcake for the main and Paris-Brest for desserts. It does not hurt that the decor is so lovely with the royal red leather encasing the seats and the elegant chandeliers.

Really tasty food. Probably the best pie and gravy I've ever had. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Lively vibe, good atmosphere. Great date night or business lunch venue. It's a little on the pricy side, but well worth it.

A wonderful place to go for dinner. Rightly famous for its pies, which are delicious, the standout here was the scotch egg. We were too full to try the desserts, but the menu was very tempting. The décor is lovely, but the open space means that it can be a bit noisy when full. Definitely recommended.
