We visited the great orme copper mines with our two fur babies who were allowed to experience their first mine adventure Lovely little morning out, would definitely recommend!
Great views all along the trek to the top. Got to watch a lot of seals in their natural habitat.
Superbly picturesque with brilliant views all around. Lovely walk, not too taxing. Different routes depending on how long you want to walk for. Well worth a visit with a visitor centre and the trip into the mine and underground nearby as well
Hubby, son and I went on the tram to the top of the Great Orme. We took a picnic with us. It's changed over the last couple of years. It's a shame because it was such a happy place to be. It's feeling neglected now. There used to be a nice bar at the summit but it was closed and has been for a while. The café and the gift shop were open. There's a small playground for the younger children. A visitor centre and a mini golf course. There's a mine you can go and have a toot at, numerous walks, and a car park at the top if you prefer to drive. We enjoy the tram ride. It's £9-75 per adult return. The views are fabulous from the top. There is also the cable chairs when they are running.
Place of natural beauty, stunning locations and pictures don't do it justice, Just take a coat Playground: For the youngsters As well as a couple of spots for refreshments and sovereigns Restrooms: There are public toilets by the car park Dog-friendliness: Doggy tickets for the tram 1.50. Dog are allowed ON A LEASH
Quite windy at the top, which I gather may be the norm for this area, but great views and some nice little hiking trails. I took the tram to the top, which was great for snapping some photos and relaxing, but hiking to the top is also quite popular.
Absolutely beautiful. We rode the cable car to the peak. There is a cafe and gift shop at the top. You can roam freely with the sheep and marvel at the ocean from the cliffs. Just breath taking.
Various different walking routes to take. Stunning views over Llandudno, toward puffin Island/ Anglesey and Conwy. Can be windy. Playground: Small playground at the top. Ideal for younger kids. Dog-friendliness: Great for walking dogs. Just make sure they're on leads as sheep are roaming around. Picnic area: Plenty of places to have a picnic. Just take a blanket.
Breathtaking view and a lovely, clean place. U for the winds were high so we weren't able to get onto the cable cars but it was worth driving to the top and having our lunch at this stunning scenic place. Highly recommend a visit
A bright but blustery day but an informative visitor centre and exceptional views. Well kept paths and seating areas.
