My experience had to be cancelled 7 times 4 covid and 3 car breakdowns. This in itself I was fine with as it was all unavoidable and no fault of anyone's. However, after asking and agreeing to a refund, this is where it all could go 2 ways, and it went the wrong way. Waiting for my refund, I waited 50 days, sent 19 emails and made 11 phone calls, 4 of which were answered. The odd emails replied to were "wait a few more days". In the early days 2020 I dealt with Marie who was excellent and friendly to deal with. Recently I've managed to speak to a lady on the phone who was friendly and apologetic. But when I had to deal with The managing director Graham, I honestly don't know when I last dealt with someone so rude. In my mind Graham shouldn't be customer facing. No doubt he's passionate about cars, but he has antiquated attitude to treating customers. His motto seems to be the customer is always in the wrong unless they can prove otherwise. For example allegedly the issue with refund was that although I gave my account number and sort code, I didn't give my name which is quite pedantic as my name was all over the booking and it's my name on my emails. This still doesn't excuse that it took almost 2 months for them to ask for this clarification I've got no doubt if everything goes to plan you would have a great driving experience, but keep this personal experience in mind.

Thoroughly enjoyed this experience along with my wife. Steve who managed and accompanied us in another vehicle was excellent without being overly attentive. I am sure he made a point of being available to assist my passenger wife out of vehicles, as she has hip/back problem, but wasn’t needed. He never mentioned it but I noticed. The route guidance was easier than using a satnav or conventional map. I am cotswold based but travelled areas I have never seen. My apologies to anyone else on this trip if they thought I was a bit slow but it was in Jaguars which I consider to be a gentleman’s carriages. They other drivers didn’t mention it.Part of the package included an etype Jaguar wasn’t available due to a mechanical fault. I have been assured that I can book this in future at no extra cost. All in a memorable experience.I would use them again. Well done

Bought Christmas 2021,went July 2022, none of the cars were as described in red letter day voucher and therefore requested refund. Refund received from red letter days, but still waiting for extra insurance refund from great driving days. Very disappointing.

I've had 3 cars through Great Escape. A Series 2 E-type for my wedding which unfortunately broke before I picked it up and was replaced with an AC Cobra replica. That had a problem with petrol guage sticking leaving me to run out of fuel but was otherwise ok. I was offered a free weekend with the series 2 E-type to make-up for the fact the car I'd booked had broken which was great. I've also had a Series 3 E-type for a short trip. I've found their staff friendly but do tend to assume you know what you're doing. It can be a bit daunting if you've not driven a classic before and the last hire I was effectively handed the keys without much explanation hopefully you know how to use a choke etc.. I've rented classics from individuals before and found them generally better condition and more likely to give a better introduction to the car but then Great Escape's prices can't be beaten and they have a good selection.

Amazing cars to drive, nice enjoyable route to explore in the beautifull Cotswolds, and great place to stop for lunch mid-day... all in all, great experience. The guys were extremly friendly, very patient and attentive. Cold water provided for everyone, acouole of pictures taken. What a great day...

We did a one day Cotswolds classic car driving experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I got to drive 5 great cars throughout the day. We stopped off at a lovely cafe for lunch in the middle. We even had the chance to take a couple more cars the cars that we hadn't had a chance to drive out for a spin when we returned so that we didn't miss out. Would highly recommend.

My daughter bought me a driving experience in a classic mini , tried to book only to be told it was no longer available so chose the 1969 Porsche 911 and paid another £30. Arrived 6 weeks later for the driving experience only to be told the Porsche was no longer available and hadn’t been with them for 8 months !!!  So why take the booking and allow me to drive from Blackpool 3 1/2 hours !! Ended up with V8 MGB Roadster , great car had fun but third choice and not what I wanted .

Great day out with Graham & his team. Drove 5 vehicles Jaguar E-type, XKR, XJS, Mk 2, and a Ford Capri along a superb route around Broadway & the Cotswolds. The cars are well used examples but performed faultlessly through the day even though they all have their own idiosyncrasies. Graham’s team made sure they were suitably sanitised each time we changed cars which is important in these challenging times we are all facing.  Would thoroughly recommend taking the opportunity to drive these classics.

Well run.Provided with an easy to follow stage route guide.Steve was a great bloke.A good day in cars i wouldn't ordinarily choose to drive and each had their own little traits. Drive the cars like they should be driven and you won't be disappointed. Downside was the trip back up the M6 but can't have everything.Dont be like me...a tight Yorkshireman. Stay the night down there .

Absolutely Fantastic…. Would highly recommend. The car we were offered  for my husband was …. In his words…. Effortless to drive…. The trail we followed was stunningly beautiful…. No one could fail to enjoy this. The staff…. Graham, Steve and Marie are a credit to the Great Driving Days business… and in my view offer a must have experience. Words really can’t express the memories that are given …. Thank you so much
