We visit here almost weekly as a group of ladies with our babies in pushchairs. The pub is very spacious so plenty of room for us. Very family friendly, with table service. Great lose leaf tea. Food has always been good here too. Management seem very open to new ideas and serving the local community with its toddler talk mornings once a month with free homemade cake! Delicious!

Only had a coffee. But very impressed with food menu.having had a look. Definitely going to return for a meal. Staff very pleasant. and efficient.

Very slow service! After we were seated it took 15 minutes for anyone to even take our order. Which isn't too bad, except it took another 15 minutes for someone to bring our drinks. Took an hour to get our mains, which were average at best. My partner asked for fire fries, but got normal fries. But by this point we didn't want to wait any longer so we just didn't say anything. The second round of drinks we ordered took half an hour to arrive. When we asked where they were another waiter came over and had to ask what we ordered. Clearly the waitress we ordered them with hadn't bothered to do anything with our order. Slow service despite there being lots of staff about, who seem more interested in chatting amongst themselves than serving! Average food with messed up orders!

Slow service despite having ample staff available. Lack of interest in customers shown by the majority of the staff. Appeared to be more interested in talking to each other rather than serving customers. Meals were barely cooked. Coffee limited to one choice due to machine being broken. Will only use this establishment if everywhere else is too busy. How can an establishment go down so far without notable complaints?

Nice atmosphere- food isn't bad - better than staying at home cooking! We had the Sunday roast, Good variety of veg - beef was tender have to praise them on their red cabbage - not many places offer this and it was cooked beautifully. 45 min wait for food which for a Sunday (2pm) wasn't too bad 😊
