What a lovely park, great for a long walk. I got about 3 miles in but you could certainly do more if you get creative. Had lots of great views along my walk, whether it was the pond of ducks, through the forest and bridge or the animal farm. I will definitely add this to my rosta of parks/ nature reserves walking routes. Dog-friendliness: Lots of trails for dog walks and open fields to play. Picnic area: A lot of flat, grassy and open areas to sit down and set up for a picnic. I saw a lot of family do this whilst walking through.
We came from East Yorkshire to visit the park having seen an item on the news this morning about the reopening of the cafe. We caught a bus from the city centre and got off at Cobnar Road which put us just a few yards from a main entrance to the park. We followed along the path which climbed and climbed through amazing woodland scenery. It really was stunning! Eventually we reached the top and found the lake then went further around to the cafe. This park is huge and it’s free! There’s lots to see and do including an animal farm and a putting green; there’s even a little land train. The cafe is great and there’s also an icecream van; something for everyone. It was on the cool and breezy side but there were lots of families enjoying the park. A great asset for Sheffield!
Amazing park for a lovely stroll around. I walked through the forest which was nice but there should be directions inside as you can get lost which way to go. I personally loved the pond with the different ducks, next time I'll bring some food for them as they kept coming near me. I walked for 3 miles and felt refreshed and there are loads of benches so you can rest which is good.
Graves Park Farm is lovely to have a walk round and to look at the animals. The playground could be adapted better to facilitate disability as we had a wheelchair user who couldn't really access everything on the grounds.
My favourite park. Can find a parking space easily and free. Greenery is nice and well maintained. Got a nice animal farm for kids.Generally a nice place to visit.
When I was a kid, we used to always go to the area of the park populated with a cafe, animals, and other things to do. I revisited as an adult, entering from the North East entrance near KFC as we got the bus, and I was greeted with a part I’d never seen! Gorgeous woodland with clear, steady paths. Didn’t see any bins where we were walking, but also didn’t see any litter which was great, will definitely be back
Brilliant day out. We took a picnic and enjoyed feeding the animals at the farm. £1.50 for a bag of animal food.
It's a lovely and clean environment, The animals are beautiful and looks well. Friendly staff. I enjoyed the scenery of the farm.Lovely time with my daughter and friends
Lovely place. But the disabled toilet is OK if your are not disabled. A stupid design. You open the door in front of the exit door then no room to turn a wheelchair. You also have to get in quick otherwise you block both other toilet entrances. I suggest using the disabled toilet across the field, in the park Restrooms: See review
It's an excellent place for the kids Free to get in You just have to pay for car park Restrooms: Clean tidy Dog-friendliness: Dogs are welcome Picnic area: Tables at the cafe seating area around the park.
