Les Miserables was amazing Everything was fantastic, definitely the best show I have ever seen. The singing, the orchestra, the lighting and choreography Great seats with a wonderful view, experience from start to end was wonderful. Highly recommend
Attending the Gladiators event at Sheffield Arena was an exhilarating experience, albeit a long day. The atmosphere was electric from the moment we walked in, with the arena buzzing with excitement. The event was well-organized, and the nostalgia of seeing the Gladiators live was truly a treat. The day was packed with back-to-back action, featuring intense battles, impressive athleticism, and thrilling stunts. Each event kept the audience on the edge of their seats, cheering for their favorite competitors. The production value was high, with dramatic lighting, sound effects, and an engaging host who kept the energy up throughout the day. However, be prepared for a long haul. The event stretched over several hours, with only brief breaks in between. While the non-stop action was entertaining, it did require a fair bit of stamina to keep up with the pace. Despite the length, the excitement never waned, and the final showdowns were well worth the wait. In summary, the Gladiators at Sheffield Arena delivered a thoroughly entertaining experience, blending nostalgia with high-octane action. Just make sure to come prepared for a long day of fun!
Visited for a Glasgow Clan away ice hockey game. Staff were nice and a great atmosphere will hopefully visit again. View from seats were good.
Seats uncomfortable and crammed but small venue makes you feel you are close no matter where you are. Food and drink extortionate.
Easy to get to, not so easy to leave; when leaving the event last night Gladiators, every single driver decided to cut me up and cut me off and it was possibly the worst carpark management I’ve ever seen. Next time I will wait 30 minutes and then leave- honestly it was terrible. The staff just stood around giving zero help. £10 per car. The venue is good though- plenty of bar staff, prices are to be expected too much, the food is ok- chips, sausage rolls and burgers yes, they do vegan burgers. No mention of gluten free options. The seating was cramped but better than plastic seats. Good views. Toilets are large and fine- plenty to use.
Very easy arena to get to by car from junction 34 of M1. Had paid for parking in car park A and drove straight in and parked up. Getting into the venue was easy and plenty of staff were on hand to help if we needed it. We attended for Liam Gallagher and it was a sold out gig. Lots of queues for food, drink and merch. If you want any of those things expect to wait for a bit before getting to the front. Sound quality was great inside the arena! Getting out of the car park was a little bit of mayhem and could have been helped if the stewards helped direct the traffic off site. Overall good venue and id come back for another gig!
Tram from Meadowhall made it easy to get to the Arena, Fabulous show had an amazing evening
We visited for filming for The Gladiators. Plenty of parking, staff were ALL friendly and looked after us well from the car parking attendants at 7.30am to the security at 10pm. Check in and security ran like clockwork with lots of lines and minimal waiting around. Seats were comfy, views were great, house staff were friendly and helpful, toilets were clean and useable, sound quality of audio equipment in the area was too notch I struggle with hearing but there was zero feedback or other sound issues The only hiccup during the day was a definite lack of food as the kitchens struggled to get burgers and chips cooked 40 minute wait on your order after a 20 minute queue lots of annoyed parents and kids waiting by the burger bar while risking missing the tiny bit of TV filming we'd all waited so long to see. The serving staff were trying their best and taking the brunt of it but a quick service burger hatch this was not! Great arena, great team, consider getting your kids to starve rather than making them miss the show for a burger.
Attended a concert here last Sat. It was great. We were standing so I couldn't tell what the seats were like and the view as such. The security checks were quite quick however, there was a wait/queue before it. The doors weren't open until 1930 then the concert only started at 2100. The staff by the standing area entrance quite abruptly tore our tickets and said they were having our physical tickets. We had to ask why and we only found out that they if I ever need to get out of standing area then I had to ask for a ticket otherwise they won't let me in anymore. We took 2 tickets on our way out to keep as souvenirs and it wasn't a problem. We only ordered water and they were not overpriced £2.50 each. The best thing about this was getting to and from the arena. Parked at Meadowhall and used the Supertram. Parking was free on event days see arena website and the tram wasn't dear. Very easy and queue was quick for this bit.
What an amazing venue and atmosphere. We had a wonderful experience watching the great André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra. Truly unforgettable
