It was very enjoyable! The staff was friendly and the shop had a good selection of gifts. The gallery itself was lovely and I especially enjoyed some of the local art (and locally inspired art) that they had. It is always so refreshing to see an emphasis placed on celebrating and preserving local history. I am very pleased with this gallery!

A highly underrated gallery space, with some nice exhibitions. It's a shame it's very tucked away, otherwise it might get more footfall.

Nobody seems to mention that the gallery has works by famous artists like Cezanne, Gauguin, Lowry and many others. Would definitely recommend, especially the last few rooms if you don't have enough time for the whole thing.

This is a lovely gallery in the centre of town. I lived in Sheffield for 10 years and never visited. I don't think they make enough of themselves. Some great collections including Grayson Perry's breathtaking tapestry, which is about 15-20m long.

Bit old and crumbling building, but the art selection is quite good. Has pieces from the 16th and 17th+more modern day art as well.
