Either you only visit or lical, it is a very spectacular area with nice views for a mad camera, birds spotting or steam train spotting. Good fun places for children in season nice beach, restaurant inn and tea terrace, all dog friendly. For a quick fix, there is a snack kiosk, also only in season. Enjoy!

Great park next door to splashdown. Small pay and display car park or park across the way at the velopark. Cafe , ice cream stand, access to the beach, boating lake, play park and good for children on bikes,scooters and roller skates.

Good for dog walking through the winter months, area is reduced to half of the beach in the summer which is quite limiting, nice cafe and very dog friendly with towels by the door to dry dogs off and for them to lie on. Fairly muddy on the grass at the moment to be expected and destruction from the storm cleaned up quickly

Interesting! A good place for a walk with the dog. A delicious hot chocolate at Cantina. The beach huts have" walked" in the storm but not too much damage. Sand is being scooped up from the prom and replaced on the beach. Lots of shells.

One of the flattest beach areas in torbay. Great park for little and not so little kids. Both my kids learnt to ride their bikes here and there's a really nice cafe with plenty of seating. Oh and the beach is perfect for kids one end is a dog beach all year round. It's sandy and slopes very gently. The toilets could do with a bit of updating
