Just popped in for a pint when I was in area, and found a fantastic selection of real ale, was amazed they are not on real ale finder app.
Really like this bar. Lived in this area for 30+ years and they have consistently had good staff but more importantly they have always been mindful of the residents in the street. That's why they are still here.
I have only been in once because I moved away but I remember feeling very welcome here. The barman knew his whisky and the atmosphere was good. They even did food as well when I was in. Certainly worth a visit.
