"Situated very close to Tynecastle Stadium, this pub is a fine example of a classic-looking Scottish pub, in a style which is traditionally Edinburghian. From the dark-stained, varnished bar, to the dim lighting and burgundy leather settees and armchairs, it really is a rather handsome place, with some interesting Hearts memorabilia on display for good measure"

One of the best bars in Edinburgh and 30 seconds from the Holy ground of Heart of Midlothian Football Club.
Excellent post match watering hole. Good beers, great service and warm, sporty atmosphere.
This bar in Gorgie Road in Edinburgh is the closest to Tynecastle home of Heart of Midlothian football club and is always busy when Hearts have a home game. Bedecked in maroon, the colour of Hearts and festooned with Hearts memorabilia I suppose you could describe it as a Hearts bar, having said that as an away fan I have never had any trouble here. Friendly and boisterous is a good description. The service despite the business of the place was excellent.
