Lovely old fashioned town pub.... but very lax in COVID regulations. No masks worn even landlady..no sanitiser.

ITs a LOVELY DAY in Dover after you have a PINT or three at the GOLDEN LION!!! Then take a short wobble to the Roman painted house for some VERY interesting and well preserved history of Kent.
Had a really good night out in this town pub. They had a DJ spinning rock n roll as well as Johnny Elvis entertaining us. Well worth popping out into if you like an old school pub.
We visited here early afternoon. Our drinks were cold and a good size, the service was quick and friendly. Not a big place. The only minus was, we were enjoying our drinks in a quiet corner, when they turned on some raucous music speakers right above us, which rather dampened the enjoyment. Otherwise a really nice place to visit.
Small pub, Cheap beer, Wetherspoons prices. Can't go wrong.
Great atmosphere!
