A great pub in a perfect location by the sea. I’ve been here a few times over the years, but it’s great to finally be able to go back after the pandemic. And it seems even better now than a few years ago. Excellent food, good beer and plenty of friendly staff. The views out to France are amazing.
Bit busy on Saturday around lunch time, but we managed to get a table quite quickly. Food was great and the portions more than generous! Fantastic view is a great advantage. The only reason why I'm not giving the full rating is that the server could have been little bit more attentive.
Beautiful location with easy access via a typical coastal road with ample parking. Amazing service and superb menu. Made to feel very welcome and were able to have a table without booking. No waiting time. Staff are a real credit to the smooth running here. Thank you for an amazing experience. What a taste sensation.
Fabulous pub! Great food, drink and service. Sensible prices. Very friendly chatty and helpful staff. Plenty of both outside and inside tables. Lovely rustic feel inside. Lots of veggie options. Kids menu and kids small play area / sand pit. Located on the beach front, so amazing views. Free parking. 100% recommend. Ice-cream van and litter picking station in carpark are cute little extras
Fantastic looking building on a stunning part of the coast. Went in for some well earned drinks half way on our walk and so glad we did. Really friendly people, good priced drinks, nice real ale and a wonderful surprise, they have me a free drink for Fathers Day, really added a special feeling to my day, thank you, really appreciated
Good service with friendly staff. Even though they were very busy, they still went out of their way to make us feel welcome. TL;DR; The food was excellent, the beer was well-kept, and the staff were lovely!!
Its nice pub right in front of the beach. Easy car park, the road to go down to the beach a bit narrow. I can see the beautiful view from the Pub. The food was good and delicious, however it just ridiculous over price. Seems like the menu here more expensive than the meal at hotel. The service was OK, the waitress/ water seem busy with them self. Just bring the food to our table then thats it. We were shock to hear the special menu they offer cost over £100 just for 1dish For a pub which offer meal with rate above £50 per 1 dish we expecting the place is clean. Its not even clean. Table were sticky and we move twice to get better table. I am sorry, I dont think we will come back again. Hope the pub will review the price, do better hospitality and the cleanlines.
Fish platter is amazing choice I strongly suggest it. Decent prices for really good place in the amazing location and only restaurant pub around. I highly recommend it. Onion rings were crunchy and oily didn't like them.
Nice place to end after a long walk along the Dover cliff. Good atmosphere and decent food. Friendly and helpful staff. Can get very busy during peak times.
The biggest fish and chips I've ever had! Lovely crispy batter and perfectly cooked. Good selection of pints and lots of outdoor seating to take in the views of St Margaret's cliffs. Dog friendly. Great staff!
